Money…

They say it’s the root of all evil…but I have to tell you, I disagree.

Money isn’t the root of all evil…the LACK of money maybe…

But not money.

Money is nothing more than an agreed-upon symbol of monetary value—if we used ears of corn as our system of money, we’d be saying “corn is the root of all evil”.

Money is a weird concept, though…

It represents different things to different people: to some, it’s freedom, to other’s it’s a curse; to some, it’s an obsession, to others a distraction.

Regardless of how you feel, money is a necessity—and those who say it can’t buy you happiness are either naïve, lying, or just haven’t had the joy of having enough to do whatever you want.

That being said…

There’s a fundamental difference between the Right and Left when it comes to money.

Which Side Is TRULY Greedy?

The Left loves to rail against the Right and their finances…

For some reason, they think all Republicans/Conservatives are rich and greedy…

That all the Right cares about is making their bank account bigger and hoarding wealth…

Even though statistics contradict this thinking.

The truth is that conservatives are way more willing to give their money to charities and causes they believe in.

Yes…

What I’m actually saying here is that conservatives are more charitable than Liberals.

Using voting and IRS data for the residents of 3,000 counties across the nation, a four-professor research team found that counties that are “overwhelmingly Republican” report higher charitable contributions than Democrat-dominated counties.

Now, the Left can try to spin this however they want…

They’ll say that charitable donations are lower because taxes are higher in blue counties so that tax revenue goes to the “collective” good of the people there – but this is RARELY the case.

The fact remains… Republicans and conservatives give more, regardless of what county they live in.

Why?

Because they feel that people should take care of each other instead of letting the government do a job that it’s never really been good at.

It’s simple – Liberals believe the government will do the right thing while Conservatives put their faith in individuals.

Now, there are pros and cons to both of these attitudes…

But the truth is that the bigger our country (and government) has gotten, the less the government seems to care about the individual American.

Conservatives Have STRONGER Convictions

And the thing is…

It extends beyond charity.

Look at fundraising…

The RNC has raised nearly THREE times as much money as the DNC – with over $60 million the RNC’s account compared to a measly $8.7 million on hand for the DNC.

Not only that…

The DNC is carrying over $7 million in debt as well.

Meanwhile, Trump and the RNC have raised over $300 million in 2019.

So, the money isn’t just related to charities…

It’s not that people on the Right have more money – they don’t – it’s the fact that when it comes to supporting their causes, the Right is more willing to put some skin in the game because they realize the cost of what happens when you sit on the sidelines and let things happen.

Liberals just expect everybody else to do things for them…

And that’s the REAL difference between the Right and the Left.

The Right is about self-reliance…

We don’t expect people to take care of us – and we’re better and stronger people for it.
