Liberals and Leftists seem to question President Trump’s patriotism on a daily basis…

They cite the fact that Trump was given a medical deferment for bone spurs in his heels that made him unfit to serve in the conflict (we should have called it a war) in Vietnam.

Now…

There were a bunch of medical deferments given for Vietnam – but the narrative that the Left is pushing has been fed by dejected and disgraced former council for the POTUS Michael Cohen.

Cohen told all kinds of lies in an attempt to avoid jail time – and this one is just one of the MANY Cohen told in desperation.

Of course, the Left used this to fuel their made-up rhetoric that Trump is anti-American and fakes his patriotism.

This is an outright lie…

If there is one thing that Trump has been talking about since the 80s (and maybe even before that) is his love of the United States and how he only wants to see our country, the greatest nation in the world, stat on top.

He ran for the presidency on the fact that he saw our country being taken advantage of by foreign entities that were just looking to fleece America out of its wealth and resources.

That’s pretty patriotic…

His country called, and he answered, as he’s serving (TRULY serving, as he donates his ENTIRE salary) the country the best way he can.

Trump’s History Of Patriotism

However, if you look back…

There are all KINDS of stories that prove that Trump has always been one hell of a patriotic American.

For example…

What about the time that Trump SAVED Veteran’s Day for New York City?

You’ve probably never heard that story…

Which makes sense. It paints Trump in a positive light, so the mainstream media won’t report on it or even mention it – even though Veteran’s Day is right around the corner.

Back in 1995, in the city of New York, while the city was still recovering from the terrible decisions of the 60s, 70s and early 80s, there were some place that were being overlooked as far as funding was concerned.

One of those areas that was forgotten (and sometimes still IS forgotten) was funding for the annual Veteran’s Day parade the city always held.

So, almost 25 years ago, when organizers looked at the budget for the parade, they saw a paltry sum of $1.21 in all.

Not $1.21 million…

But ONE dollar and twenty-one cents.

Trump To The Rescue!

The parade’s executive director Tom Fox told the New York Times, “Zippo, nada, zilch. Nothing from Northrup, United Technologies, none of them. To me, it’s a sin.”

That was until life-long New Yorker and TRUE patriot Donald Trump saved the event by contributing a sum between $325,000 to $375,000.

This HUGE donation started a waterfall of donations – which ultimately brought in a whopping $2.4 million.

During a segment on Fox & Friends, the co-producer of this year’s Veteran’s Day parade, Bill White, recalled the story of Trump saving the 1995 event.

“The parade was in difficult financial straits, and the president of the United States — then ‘The Donald’ — no questions asked, just said, ‘Yes, I will do it.’” White continued, “He wrote a ginormous check, saved the Veterans Day Parade. He has been a friend to our veterans for many, many, many years … We are so grateful to our president. We have a great commander-in-chief. There’s going to be 30,000 veterans, 400 military units … and it’s our 100th anniversary.”

An awesome story, for sure, but that wasn’t the first time Trump gave his money to help or support our veterans…

In 1985, he donated $1 million to help fund the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza in the city – as well as another $1 million to the Marine Corp Law-Enforcement Foundation, a charity that provides education services to the children of fallen Marines and police officers.

He’s done this…

And people STILL question this man’s patriotism?

Ridiculous…

“It is in the man of piety and inward principle, that we may expect to find the uncorrupted patriot, the useful citizen, and the invincible soldier. God grant that in America true religion and civil liberty may be inseparable and that the unjust attempts to destroy the one, may in the issue tend to the support and establishment of both.” – John Witherspoon
