Do you know who Megan Rapinoe is?

Well, for those that don’t know, she’s a midfielder for the U.S. women’s soccer team, she’s openly gay, she’s a co-captain of the team…

And she says that, “I’ll probably never put my hand over my heart. I’ll probably never sing the national anthem again.”

Why?

What could trigger this liberal so hard that she’ll turn her back on the very country that she represents every time she steps onto the soccer pitch?

As if you needed to be told…

It’s one Donald J. Trump.

Triggered Liberal BLAMES Trump

For some reason, Rapinoe is blaming all the woes of the LGBT and minority communities on the guy who’s only been president for the past two years…

But this mouth-breather sees herself a “’walking protest’ when it comes to the Trump administration” because it goes everything she stands for.

She must have a problem with freedom and winning…

But she goes on explaining her self-indulgence by saying: “I feel like it’s kind of defiance in and of itself to just be who I am and wear the jersey, and represent it. Because I’m as talented as I am, I get to be here, you don’t get to tell me if I can be here or not. So it’s kind of a good ‘F you’ to any sort of inequality or bad sentiments that the [Trump] administration might have towards people who don’t look exactly like him. Which, God help us if we all looked like him. Scary. Really scary. Ahh, disturbing.”

Wow…

Um, first of all, you need to find some humility. While you may be talented now, you’re replaceable tomorrow. So maybe recognize that fact and be humble.

Secondly, Trump may be the most pro-minority president we’ve EVER had. Trump has done MORE for minorities — including the LGBT community — than any president…

Ever.

That’s a documented and verifiable FACT.

And while we will respect your right to protest, you’ll have to do so on your own time…

As most patriotic Americans have a problem with the fact that a representative of the U.S. team is refusing to show support for the country that is giving her a platform to showcase her hard work to the world.

A few years ago, she grabbed a few headlines for jumping on the Colin Kaepernick train and kneeling for the national anthem being played in international play.

To say it was controversial would be an understatement…

But the disrespectful display forced the U.S. Soccer Federation to change its rules and require players stand for the anthem.

While Rapinoe reluctantly agreed to acquiesce to the request…

She publicly stated that the she believed the act was “cowardly.”

How asking players to respect the anthem of the country for which they’re playing on an INTERNATIONAL stage is a “cowardly” act is beyond comprehension.

It’s nothing more than common sense and common courtesy for the country, and for the memory of the men and women who have died defending America’s liberty and ideals.

Just Win, Baby

We’re sorry your little publicity stunt is being preempted by respect, Ms. Rapinoe. We didn’t realize you getting attention for an unfounded cause took precedence over showing said respect to the country giving you a platform.

But here’s the kicker…

When asked when Rapinoe would end her protest, she said: “It would take a lot. It would take criminal justice reform. It would take the huge inequality gap that we have to be much better. It would take a lot of progress in LGBTQ rights. We just have such a disparity in this country in so many different ways, inequality in so many different ways.”

Again…

These are ALL issues that Trump either has addressed or IS addressing.

Does Rapinoe have the internet in the la-la land and she’s living in?

Except for this “inequality gap” she’s speaking of (never seen any evidence of any inequality)…

But keep enjoying the money and fame that America is affording you.

Our question to Rapinoe is simple: What are you doing outside of kneeling or refusing to put your hand over your heart? Now that you’ve STARTED the conversation, what else are you prepared to do to fix these supposed problems you see?

Or is kneeling as far as you’re willing go?

That’s fine…

We don’t need you to respect our anthem — but we DO need you to win.

Keep doing that…

Winning is what Trump is ALL about!
