I learned something about myself recently: I’m largely driven by anger.
I’ll give you an example of what I mean…
my wife and I had to put our dog to sleep recently. He was our fuzzy child because we were unable to have kids, and so we loved that dog as much as anything we’ve ever loved.
However, after 16 incredible years, our puppy was tired, and so we did the right thing and let him go. It was tough, and even though we knew the time was coming, we were devastated when it happened.
For the next few days, I didn’t have the fire I normally have when it comes to doing my job.
I was too sad to be angry at the hypocrisy and actions of Liberals and Leftists…
And I recognized that.
However, the Left is going to be the Left, and so it didn’t take long for me the Left to stoke the fire of anger inside of me.
I can’t stand hypocrisy, and I can’t stand inconsiderate behavior—and these are easily the two most common things on the Left.
Stoking Anger, Hiding Truth
When Trump suggested that COVID-19 came from a virology lab in Wuhan, the Left exploded, pulling out the labels they’d already saddled him with: racist, bigot, xenophobe…the usual lineup.
It’s like they couldn’t accept the fact that the actual lab where people were working on a strain of bat coronavirus might have been the epicenter from which the entire pandemic started.
Their logic was broken.
However, now that Trump has been ousted from the White House and Joe Biden was “elected” in his place, more evidence has emerged that makes the Wuhan lab leak even more credible than ever before—namely, the fact that three of the lab’s staff were hospitalized in November with COVID-like symptoms before the pandemic even started.
With that being the case, the Left has no choice but to accept the fact that Trump was more than likely right and that everything they said about him and his role in the pandemic during the 2020 election season was totally wrong.
For months now, Facebook has been accused of smothering free speech by banning discussion of this theory, either “fact-checking” it or removing it from their site altogether.
But CEO Mark Zuckerberg has decided to end that practice, especially now that Biden says he’s going to reopen Trump’s investigation into the idea.
However, Twitter has decided not to budge on the Wuhan lab leak theory, refusing to say whether it will continue to censor the hypothesis or consider it “misleading” or “lacking context.” Even though fellow social media companies are reversing course due to the mounting evidence that the lab leak theory could be true, Twitter isn’t budging.
To quote one of my favorite movies, “Anger Management,” “The anger sharks are swimming!”
Twitter Holding On To The Lie
This is the kind of action—or lack thereof—that truly makes me want to put my fist through a wall or two.
The fact that ANY company—especially a social media company whose sole purpose is for interaction and discourse—would limit open discussion on ANY issue is terrible in itself…
But continuing to do so on something as BIG as getting answers about the start of the pandemic is just irresponsible. It shows that they want to be able to dictate what is “truth” and what is not.
When asked directly whether they would permit debate about the hypothesis, a Twitter spokesman responded by stating the network’s policy that it would take action against “false or misleading” claims that posed “a significant risk of harm.”
“False or misleading”? There’s evidence it could be true!
A “significant risk of harm”? Harm to who?! This is the truth we’re talking about!
So, when asked specifically whether Twitter considered the Wuhan lab theory “false or misleading,” the spokesman did not provide a yes or no answer. He simply repeated the general policy.
They’re cowards – but I’m glad they’re showing their true colors. They’re showing that they’re going to hold onto this LIE, just as they did the Russian collusion lie.
These people are sick…
And there needs to be a reckoning.
Truth and honesty need to return to ALL of our media outlets – be they social or mainstream – honesty and integrity should be the order of the day.
Ethics SHOULD matter…
And the fact that companies like Twitter will throw the truth and ethics out of the window to push their chosen agenda shows you all you need to know about them.
May they go bankrupt…
