How many times does the Left have to witness Trump’s magnanimousness before they accept the fact that our president isn’t a racist?
They want him to be a racist so badly that they’ll jump at ANY chance to paint him in a negative light.
Trump has always worked closely with urban centers and the people of the inner city….
In fact, he has been given multiple awards and accolades from some of the biggest urban organizations in existence. That’s why many who have followed Trump for so long are so surprised by the accusations of racism.
He literally went almost 70 years with barely a peep (minus the housing thing in the 70s, which wasn’t his policy) – everything else he’s done has been to try and HELP people in the inner cities.
A History Of HELPING Urban Communities – NOT Hurting!
Nobody called him a racist three years ago…
It’s funny what happens when you run for public office against Democrats – and they’ve been relentless.
Which is why finally, after a few years of this kind of treatment, people from the minority communities are finally coming out to defend him.
Nobody was really surprised when Ben Carson came out a few weeks ago and defended our president after his tweet about the Squad went viral…
And he did it not just because Trump appointed him, but because he’s worked intimately with the president and knows that he’s never seen or heard him being a racist.
Another man that has come out in defense of our president has been legendary civil rights activist Rev. William Owens…
Rev. Owens made headlines recently with his open letter to Colin Kaepernick, where he urged the former football player to do more than just be another celebrity that tweets and makes headlines without truly helping his community.
He also came out in defense of Trump when dealing with CNN host Don Lemon. Don asked Rev. Owens why it was so hard for him to believe that Trump was a racist, and Rev Owens’ response was incredible.
“I find President Trump a leader of all colors. He attacks who he will. He’s his own man. I can’t dictate what he should or shouldn’t do. But he does not just attack black people. He attacks anybody. And you know it.”
Lemon responded, “So as a man of faith, as a Christian, he attacks anyone. It sounds like you’re condoning attacks. Is that Christianly or Godly?”
And Rev. Owens said, “I’m just stating a statement of fact. I’m not condoning anything. I’m stating a statement of fact. President Trump does not pick the people he attacks because of color. He attacks anybody he feels needed.”
Where Trump and Lincoln INTERSECT
And he’s right…
Trump may actually be the most pro-minority president we’ve had since Abraham Lincoln – meaning he’s done more for people of color than any president in recent memory.
He’s done more for the black community with his prison reform policies than Obama could ever dream of doing…
And then there’s the curious case of A$AP Rocky – the rapper who was involved in a street fight in Sweden and was imprisoned until his trial.
There was a video of the altercation between A$AP and a fan that followed him and his entourage through the streets – making it obvious that they tried whatever they could to do to avoid a physical confrontation.
Trump ended up going to bat for A$AP, tweeting his support and talking to the president of Sweden to get the rapper returned to the US.
While he wasn’t able to get A$AP freed before his trial, his support surely swayed the powers-that-be, convincing them to be as expedient and lenient as possible.
Trump didn’t have to do that…
Trump could have just let the system take its course – but he didn’t. He tried…
Not because A$AP is black…
But because he’s an American.
And unlike the Democrats, Trump actually cares about Americans.
“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.” ― Abraham Lincoln
