Isn’t that what the Left says they’re all about?
At almost every one of the protest marches that the Left organizes, “Tolerance and Acceptance” seems to be the rallying cry as they battle against perceived inequality.
You would think that a political movement that professes such compassionate tenets would actually practice what they preach…
But you’d be wrong.
They are often the exact OPPOSITE of tolerant or accepting…
They can be nasty, mean, and, in some cases, incredibly violent.
We’ve all seen the videos…
Yet, for some reason, the mass media likes to portray the Right as the intolerant, uncompassionate bigots.
It doesn’t seem fair, does it?
That’s because it isn’t.
Especially for a young college student that has been forced to go into hiding because of her political views.
Attacked! Tolerance Is Not The Left’s Strong Suit
You’ve probably never heard of L’wren Tikva – a 23-year-old college student who decided to be a part of a panel of eight women for the news channel Vice.
The video, titled “Conservatives and Progressives Debate Feminism,” has been on YouTube since the end of March, and already has over 1.3 million views – making it wildly popular among the politically inquisitive.
It’s a great piece and has sparked some meaningful conversations as people on both the Right and the Left work to define what feminism means to them…
However, this video has also changed L’wren Tikva’s life forever…and not necessarily for the better.
Well, on the show, L’wren, a Jewish conservative, admitted to the panel that she voted for Trump, and even commented on the Left’s lack of compassion, saying, “The only time I’ve ever been attacked is by liberal women. I find that liberals are some of the most intolerant people and one of my friends got punched in the face at UC Berkley just because he was tabling with a conservative organization. You see this happening all the time…”
Unfortunately for L’wren, this proved to be 100% true – because after one of her panel members revealed what college she went to, she was forced to live with constant harassment, starting on social media.
“I was forced almost immediately to go undercover. I was receiving multiple hateful comments and messages a day. I felt I had to do that to keep my family safe so they wouldn’t be targets of online hate.”
This is what it’s like to be in opposition of the “tolerant” Left.
Hate… venom… anger.
The Left Instills FEAR Instead Of Acceptance
But it got worse…
L’wren continued, “The worst part is one of the panelists, Deja Foxx, told her Instagram followers where I went to college and, due to her careless actions, students at my school found out my class schedule.”
Imagine, in addition to dealing with all the pressures of college life, getting attacked online on a daily basis. At least you know you’re safe in the REAL world, right?
Not anymore. Not after being doxed. Now, not only did she have to worry about digital abuse, but now she had to be in fear for her safety as well – again, JUST for admitting she voted for Trump.
“Then, after Deja doxxed me, I received a number of threats online and in person. Many of them wishing that I would kill myself, would die, I got rape threats, death threats, and many comments were attacking me based on my looks. I was afraid to even be on campus after that,” she added.
That is not only UNFAIR…
It’s flat-out wrong.
And her fellow panelist, Deja Foxx, should be held accountable for her actions – whether they were intentional or not.
But this ISN’T tolerance…
This is INTOLERANCE at its finest.
The Right is always willing to have the conversations needed to accomplish real change through understanding and compromise.
That’s what we do.
But how can we do that when the other side won’t enter into civil discourse?
How can they think that this is the best way to change somebody’s mind?
It only pushes us further towards our belief in the truth.
But good luck to L’wren…
She’s a strong, patriotic woman who is sticking to her beliefs and values and not letting the Left bully her into changing them.
Watch out, Leftists…
We’ve got cojones over here.
