There is a problem that the Left never wants to talk about…

A problem that’s so delicate and controversial — that even some of the loudest voices in the Grand Old Party refuse to reveal their thoughts on — it is one of America’s biggest problems.

It’s not immigration…

It’s not Russian interference…

It’s not even tax cuts, though it is tied to it.

It comes down to one word…

Fairness.

There’s a differing opinion between the Right and Left when it comes down to what is and what isn’t “fair” or equal…

The right is all about equality of opportunity — that no matter who you are or where you’re from — IF you’re an American citizen you have the same right and opportunity to succeed as ANYBODY else, regardless of whether or not they were born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

While both sides will admit — this does put some at a disadvantage. It’s a disadvantage that can be overcome with hard work and sacrifice.

This isn’t how the Left sees it…

The Left believes in equality of outcome — meaning that no matter who you are, how hard you work or don’t work, no matter how much you try to improve yourself, that it doesn’t matter…

You should get whatever job you want and be paid handsomely for it.

To them, it’s not about what you’re qualified for — it’s what you’re entitled to.

Even more…

If you come from a background, race or religion that is underrepresented — then you should DEFINITELY get whatever job going in whatever career you seem fits you.

Or, better yet…

Why work at all? Why not just apply for welfare benefits and just suckle off the government’s all-but-empty teat?

Because that’s the rout many Americans take — though, to be quite honest — it seems to be a path that’s taken less and less these days.

Why?

Because Trump is making America GREAT again, that’s why!

Recent record-low unemployment, record minority employment, wages are being increased — THIS is what we wanted when we voted him into office…

This is the job he was HIRED to do!

It’s becoming harder and harder not to work in Trump’s version of America…

And our POTUS is going to make it even HARDER not to work.

How’s he doing this?

By holding people feet to the fire and making them contribute — like the rest of us do.

What does that mean?

It means that Trump is putting measures into the budget that will implement new welfare requirements of Americans aged 18 to 65 that are looking to secure benefits.

What requirements?

Well, if you’re able-bodied and within that age range, you will need to work at least 20 hours a week…

Or you can enter into a job training or community service program in order to be eligible to get government assistance or aide.

This is all conservatives have really ever asked for…

No free rides.

We as a nation don’t mind helping people when they’re down and out — but to sit on your duff and just collect a check is just not fair — and it’s time that somebody did something about that…

And that somebody is President Trump.

According to the White House, meeting the work requirement ensures access to federal programs like food stamps, Medicaid and federal housing, but would come with a hardship exemption — so they wouldn’t have to pay Obama’s penalty tax for not having health insurance.

Remember, this isn’t new…

Last year, Trump paved the way for individual states to impose their own work requirements for Medicaid recipients.

However, this latest budget proposal would bring it from the state to the federal level.

This is what we wanted.

Nobody wants a freeloader — and I’d like to believe that most people don’t enjoy being a freeloader — and these new requirements would go a long way to helping both.

This would go a long way to helping conservatives feel like their tax dollars have a better steward…

As nothing is as frustrating as going to a grocery store and watching somebody in name brand shoes pull a EBT card out of a name-brand purse, and then drive away from the store in $30,000 vehicle with all the upgrades.

While you, the person that pays their taxes and works a job that may not always be satisfying — at least it pays the bill — pulls your debit card out of your box-store-brand wallet to pay for your groceries before getting into your modestly-priced car and driving back to your modest home.

Talk about equality…

This will truly level the playing field because it will ensure that everybody is paying taxes!

Or at least contributing…

Or improving themselves so they CAN eventually contribute.

Is that too much to ask?

For citizens to contribute to the society in which they live?

Or is expecting common decency considered bigotry these days?

It’s hard to tell…
