It is a sad day for America.

President Trump has officially announced that a transfer of power to a new administration will occur this month after the highly-contested 2020 election.

In a video statement released on Thursday night, the president said, “A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20.”

President Trump made it clear his “focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power.”

Although he refrained from using the word “concede” and did not directly mention Biden, it is clear that, on January 20, 2021, there will no longer be a Trump administration.

However, that is not to say he is going anywhere anytime soon in the public eye.

The president added, “And to all my wonderful supporters, I know you are disappointed. But I want you to know that our incredible journey is only just beginning.”

President Trump is not going to simply disappear into the night.

On Friday morning, he confirmed this when he tweeted, “The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”

From January 20th on, as a civilian he will become the most influential man in America in politics, media, and life.

It is doubtful the GOP will have much of a future without his support and the media certainly won’t be able to survive without covering everything he says. His supporters will still look to him for guidance in how they vote as well as their opinions on the world.

Although the fraud-ridden 2020 election was truly a disgrace, the unfortunate fact of the matter is President Trump will not have another four years. But think about it this way: if the establishment had their way, he would have never become president in 2016.

It’s sad we have to think this way, but we were genuinely lucky and blessed to have had such a pro-America president for those four short years in which he accomplished infinitely more than any other in US history.

Defeating the entire political establishment that has had its way for decades will take more than one man and more than four – or even eight – years.

Like the president said, this journey is far from over. Now, it’s up to the American people to continue the fight for our rights, freedoms, and livelihoods in the long game—even more now without Trump in the White House.
