Plot twist! President Trump has signaled for his team to begin the transition process from his administration to Joe Biden’s despite his campaign’s ongoing litigation to determine the winner of the contested 2020 election.

The president tweeted Monday night that he is giving the GSA (General Services Administration) the green light to move forward with “initial protocols” pertaining to a transition in power.

“I want to thank Emily Murphy at GSA for her steadfast dedication and loyalty to our Country. She has been harassed, threatened, and abused – and I do not want to see this happen to her, her family, or employees of GSA. Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail! Nevertheless, in the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same,” President Trump said.

While I personally have been hopeful and confident that justice will prevail over widespread voter fraud, I must admit that this news was disheartening – at first.

However, the president followed up with a note to supporters that this does not mean in any way that he is conceding, or that he will stop pursuing legal action in the contested states.

President Trump quickly clarified later Monday night that this precautionary action is simply to maintain the speed of the process if, in fact, Biden does end up winning.

“What does GSA being allowed to preliminarily work with the Dems have to do with continuing to pursue our various cases on what will go down as the most corrupt election in American political history? We are moving full speed ahead. Will never concede to fake ballots & ‘Dominion’,” he wrote.

President Trump again repeated on Tuesday morning that beginning the transition process has nothing to do with determining who will be the next president.

“Remember, the GSA has been terrific, and Emily Murphy has done a great job, but the GSA does not determine who the next President of the United States will be.”

Essentially, this is a “not to worry” situation as the transition process is a formality that can simply be stopped if Trump ends up winning re-election.

Although the mainstream media would have you think that Trump signaling the GSA to preliminarily work with the Democrats is the “end all be all” of the election – it is not. There is still about three weeks left of litigation until the electors meet on December 14th to pledge their votes.

Furthermore, it’s worth pointing out that there are election integrity safeguards listed under President Trump’s executive order from September 12th, 2018, titled “Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election.”

The order details what could happen in the event that foreign interference is found to have occurred on behalf of a U.S. presidential candidate. Because Dominion is a foreign company that Trump’s legal team has identified to have significantly influenced the election – this could implicate the Biden campaign in election interference under the order especially if he moves forward with assuming power.

President Trump is playing the election extremely strategically and we shouldn’t begin underestimating him now. This election is far from over.
