With the election just over a month away, people are starting to line up on both sides, supporting the candidate they feel best represents their values.

The Left and the Right lined up immediately, and this new form of tribalism sets the stage for one of the most contentious (and maybe even litigious) presidential elections of all time.

It all comes down to being for Trump or against Trump.

There really is no other camp right now. But there are a lot of people who will be voting for Creepy Joe that really aren’t “for” him at all; for many, it’s enough that he’s NOT Donald Trump…

Which is all they need to hear.

However, it’s the fence-sitters—those that haven’t made a decision either way—that find themselves looking for answers about which candidate is going to best represent them.

But making a decision about backing a candidate BEFORE they’ve even had a chance to debate doesn’t make sense…

If you’re truly independent, then you should probably wait until you hear what these men have to say rather than put your weight behind either of them just yet.

That’s why it’s so surprising that wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has come out in support of Joe Biden just two days before the first debate.

Actors And Liberalism Go Hand-In-Hand

In a tweet sent out the Sunday before the first debate, The Rock said, “As a political independent & centrist, I’ve voted for both parties in the past. In this critical presidential election, I’m endorsing @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris. Progress takes courage, humanity, empathy, strength, KINDNESS & RESPECT. We must ALL VOTE”

Again, how can a TRUE independent and centrist make a call like this before Trump and Biden have even stepped on the debate stage?

The answer is…

You can’t.

Not if you’re a true independent.

If you want to stick to your true morals, then waiting until you’ve had time to hear how these men plan on making our country better just seems like a sounder strategy.

Apparently, the Rock thinks differently…

And we here at FreedomWire say: Good.

This IS America, so the Rock can vote for and support anybody he chooses…

If he wants to throw his support behind Biden, that’s fine. As long as he’s willing to live with the consequences of his actions, that’s on him.

But if the past few years have shown us anything, it’s that if you go woke, you go broke…

And with the Rock getting into the politics act—unintentionally alienating half of his fans by doing so—he’s the one that will have to deal with the lower box office numbers and lost revenue.

We’ve watched it happen to every sporting league, every media personality, and every artist that has decided to get into the politics game…

And while I personally think the Rock is great (I’ve even met him and trained with him before), I think this decision was made so early in the process that it reeks of a strategic move by the Left, and it’s going to hurt him in the long run.

Get Woke & Go Broke: Alienating Half Your Audience

Do you remember The Dixie Chicks?

Do you remember Amy Schumer?

Look at the NFL ratings…

Look at the NBA’s ratings…

You would think that somebody as smart as The Rock would be smart enough to stay out of politics.

However, sometimes the call of Hollywood is just too loud to ignore—and bowing to the Liberal mob is something he needs to do if he wants to continue to hear his phone ring.

Or…

He may TRULY believe that Joe Biden is the better candidate – and if that’s the case, then I feel sorry for him because somebody is feeding him the wrong information.

But here’s my hot take on his endorsement of Biden: So what?

Honestly, who cares which candidate the Rock supports? One way or the other, he’s a Hollywood movie star that is so far removed from reality he wouldn’t know real life if it punched him in his perfect teeth.

Besides…

If any average voter is dumb enough to take their political advice from an actor, they probably weren’t going to vote for Trump in the first place.

Is the Rock’s endorsement going to move the needle?

Hardly…

It may get some of the weaker-minded people on board the Biden Bus—but for those that have a bit of sense and like to use their noodle, watching him endorse Biden just pushed them towards the Trump Train.

Well, Dewey…

Good luck!

You’re going to need it…
