Does it seem to you that New York and California are trying to out-liberal each other?

It’s like they keep trying to one-up each other in an unnamed contest of who can pass the most ludicrous law and not have their citizens openly revolt against their regimes.

That’s really just hyperbole…

Nobody is going to revolt — the smart people are doing one better — they’re just packing up and shipping out for greener pastures.

You can literally track the movements…

Californians are all moving to Texas…

New Yorkers are all moving to Florida.

Even the governor of New York — the head whacko and recipient of nepotism himself, Andrew Cuomo, has acknowledged this by literally blaming Florida for New York’s budget shortcomings.

Yes … that happened.

He literally blamed his $2.3 billion budget shortfall on wealthy residents for leaving his messed-up state, in a mass exodus for second homes in Florida and other states that received “more favorable treatment” from Trump’s tax law.

Of course, it had nothing to do with his massive state taxes — or the various city taxes that people are tired of paying…

But blame Florida if you want.

California’s Jerry Brown is just as loony…

Did you know that in the state of California you can now be fined and/or given jail time for misgendering someone?

The former Mr. Ronstadt has signed a bill into a law that would make it a crime to “willfully and repeatedly” decline to use somebody’s “preferred name or pronouns.”

The “Gender Recognition Act” was signed into law in October of 2018 and will allow individuals to update state-issued identification documents — such as birth certificates and driver’s licenses — to say “nonbinary” as their gender.

But that’s not the best part!

The Gender Recognition Act also states:

It shall be unlawful for a long-term care facility or facility staff to take any of the following actions wholly or partially on the basis of a person’s actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or human immunodeficiency virus status.

Guess what those “unlawful actions” are? Literally misgendering them after they inform you of their said pronouns.

Among the unlawful actions are “willfully and repeatedly” failing to use a transgender person’s “preferred name or pronouns” after he or she is “clearly informed of the preferred name or pronouns.”

If found guilty…

The “perpetrator” could face “a maximum fine of $1,000, a year in prison or both.”

Let that sink in.

*cough* First Amendment *cough*

Something tells me this one isn’t going to stick…

However, the Pronoun law pales in comparison to New York’s Andrew Cuomo making late-term abortions legal in his home state.

That’s right…

Signed into law barely a month ago (January of 2019) — it is now legal in the state of New York to abort a baby…

Let’s change that terminology to what it is…

Ahem…

It is now LEGAL in the state of New York to MURDER a baby as late as the minute before the actual birth.

The. MINUTE. Before.

That’s not abortion…

That’s murder. Plain and simple.

And it’s being applauded by the left and liberals everywhere as being “progressive.”

They can dress it up however they want — it’s still just a pig in lipstick. This isn’t a progressive law…

It’s regressive.

Barbarism and medieval torture is as regressive as one can get.

It just doesn’t make sense…

How can people continually vote in this nonsense? It’s like the populations of these states are being fed lead-paint chips in their sleep!

Yet…

Where does the nation look to for its fads?

Yes — New York and California. If something is considered cool or is going to be the next “big thing” — it will come from one of these two goofball states.

I am from New York.

At one point — New York was moderate. It was the state of progress tempered with logic and morals. But something happened — along the way morals went out the window in favor of pleasing the extreme.

Same thing in California…

Remember, California gave us arguably one of the greatest presidents of all time, Ronald Reagan — but they’re a long way away from the being the state that produced The Gipper.

So…

Who wins in the worst contest of all time?

That’s hard to say — but I can tell you who loses…

The good people that are stuck in these two states.

It’s a shame too…

The ugliness of their politics overshadows their beauty.

Because I don’t care how beautiful the view is from the PCH — the threat of high taxes and jail time just isn’t worth it.
