Soooo…

I had my first stumble.

The feedback I’ve been getting from you guys has been great. I love that you love what I’m putting out…

That shows me we’re of the same mindset and values.

And that’s a good thing — because as a conservative, it’s good to know that there are lot more of us out there than the mainstream media would have you think.

However…

The title of my last piece seemed to ruffle the feathers of a few of you. I wanted to make my position clear, as the message seemed to get lost or at least overshadowed by the title of my piece.

Let’s unpack this title a little bit and see if we can come to an understanding of what I was trying to convey…

Trump: Not the Hero We Want, But the Hero We NEED

Believe it or not — this isn’t a bash on Trump, or me even suggesting that we don’t want him as our president…

We voted him in. We obviously wanted him to be our president for everything he represents.

We knew who he was when we voted him in. We knew he had just as many flaws as any human — but we could see that his motivation was pure and that he truly wanted to right the ship as it pertains to America.

Now, if I’m going to be completely honest — there are times when I may hold my breath and cringe a little…

Every once in a while, I may think: Man, sometimes, I wish he’d just put Twitter down, but that’s the extent of any criticism as our president.

As far as I’m concerned, Donald J. Trump is the president/hero we wanted — and America needed.

We know that…

And we should — we’re his audience.

We’re conservatives that believe the constitution of the United States is the finest piece of writing ever produced next to the Bible and the Declaration of Independence.

So, of course, WE wanted him and STILL want him to be our president…

But there’s a LARGE population of the country that doesn’t.

A large population that is actively slandering him, libeling him, labeling him and working to get him ousted from the presidency.

That title? That was partially for them…

Because I was hoping that some liberal or leftist who happened upon this article to see that while he may not have been WANTED by them — he is DEFINITELY needed — whether they realize it or not.

They’ve been focused on hating him so much that they don’t understand what he’s actually doing for us — and I wanted them to see that.

Even more…

I wanted them to know how WE, the silent majority…

How we, conservative Americans, feel about Trump.

That we KNOW that may not want him or like him — but they need him. We ALL do!

America NEEDS Trump…

He was the right man at the right time — and he’s doing a hell of a job.

I literally compared him to Batman in the piece because I truly believe that he is the crusader that will save America from itself — even at a great cost to him.

In the Christopher Nolan movies, Batman took on the mantle of the bad guy for the greater good of the city. And there’s a line uttered by Gary Oldman that was perfect. He said that Batman was:

Not the hero we deserved but the hero we needed.

And that to be is Trump, through and through.

Like Batman, Trump’s hated by half the population — but he’s doing good things that will make our country great once again…

I TRULY believe that.

So, I made an analogy…

I compared our very own Donald J. Trump to the caped crusader himself — Batman.

Even though I think Trump is an even BRAVER man than Bruce Wayne, as he stepped out of the dark and into the light for the whole world to see his face.

His WHOLE life is exposed to those that hate him — and yet he soldiers on — knowing that he was going to pay this cost.

Sooooo, I spun the line from the movie (as well as used a little artistic license) to make that point.

And that point is this — we NEED Trump as OUR president.

Whether we like him or not, whether we voted for him or not, whether we agree with him or not…

We NEED him.

And it’s good to know that I’m not alone in my thinking…

You voicing your opinions on the matter has been awesome. I love how much you love OUR president.

I do, too!

And I really wanted to thank you for voicing that support…

Even if it was against me!
