If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 1,000 times: I love Ron DeSantis.

Florida made the best possible decision when they elected him as governor over Andrew Gillum in 2018. Since then, this former Navy man has performed well for the people of his state, carrying them through the pandemic with flying colors.

I can say this because I am a Florida resident, and I’ve watched as Ronny D has done his best to not only keep Floridians safe but also FREE. Governor DeSantis ensure that his constituents’ liberties were trampled on as little as possible during the lockdowns.

He stood up to the mainstream media…

He stood up to the Leftist naysayers…

He stood up to Andrew Cuomo…

And he even stood up to Joe Biden, resulting in rumors swirling that the Florida Governor broke all kinds of protocol and spoke two words you’re never supposed to use with the Commander-in-Chief: “F**k you!”

So, as far as I’m concerned, this veteran has what it takes to run MY state for as many times as we can get him elected.

Though there are some rumors that they he may be eyeing a 2024 run at the White House, many Floridians are hoping those are just rumors because they’re hoping Ronny D will keep his butt parked in Tallahassee long-term.

Of course, that may become harder to do since DeSantis keeps making moves that gain him national attention and make the kingmakers turn their heads.

DeSantis Stands Up For Liberty

Take for example his most recent move on Monday. The governor signed a bill into law that will protect female athletes from having to compete against trans-women—who, if you believe in actual science, are bigger, strong, and faster than their female counterparts, even with hormone replacement.

By doing so, DeSantis made himself a target not only for the LGBTQ community but for Liberal social justice warriors as a whole—and there has definitely been some blowback this week.

The most significant response came from the NCAA, which threatened to pull events out of any state that passed any laws prohibiting transwomen from competing in sports.

Unfortunately for the NCAA, DeSantis doesn’t care about them or their events because he sees what’s truly at stake here…

The future and safety of women’s sports.

Now, standing up to the NCAA, DeSantis made a statement on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News, letting the college sports organization that gets RICH off slave labor (seriously, speaking as a former NCAA athlete, that’s what they do) know exactly how he feels about their threats.

“I think as these bills were going through various legislatures, I remember the NCAA put out a statement saying any state that enacts this, we’re not going to hold events there. And so I called the Speaker of the House in Florida and I said, ‘did you hear what they said?’ And he’s like, ‘yeah,’ I said, we definitely got to get this done.”

If that didn’t make you laugh, you may want to have your funny bone checked. To a Conservative, standing up to political pressure in this brazen of a way is pretty hilarious.

NCAA Can GO To Hell

DeSantis continued, “You can’t be cowed by these organizations, or particularly by woke corporations from doing the right thing. And so my view was throughout this whole time, we have to protect our girls, it is discriminatory to force them to compete against biological males. And so if the price of having a tournament is that I have to deny equal opportunity to hundreds of thousands of young girl and women athletes throughout Florida, I am much more willing to stand with the girls. And to hell with these events.”

This is where we all get up and slow clap.

This was a brilliant take down of the liberal narrative, and it showed that you only really need one thing to combat this invasive and toxic way of thinking: a set of actual cojones.

Good on Ron DeSantis for standing up for women and their rights, and thank God he was given a set of brass ones that allow him to be the effective leader Florida needs.

Now if we can only do something about “Florida man”…that would really be something.
