There were a few incidents during the Obama years that really made me question why I had voted for the globalist in the first place.

Yes, I did fall victim to his whole “hope and change” spiel – but if we’re going to be honest, it wasn’t his failure to provide either hope or change that really made me question my vote. Instead, it was the fact that he allowed Putin—and Russia as a whole—to basically do whatever they wanted without repercussions for their actions.

From 2008 to 2015, Putin operated as if Obama and American sovereignty didn’t exist, constantly pushing the limits of our tenuous diplomacy.

He flew missions over American air space, did flyovers of American bases in the Pacific, and his pilots engaged ours in the air—all while Obama sat back and did nothing.

Actually, that’s not really true…

He actively gave Putin everything he wanted, including getting rid of the missile defense system that America had strategically placed around the former Soviet Union’s home base.

As one of my less eloquent mentors put it, “It was like he pulled out his #*%$ and slapped Obama in the face with it—and Obama sat there and smiled.”

That being said, Putin’s been on his best behavior over the past four years. Can anyone guess why?

Putin Sees An Opportunity With The 2020 Election

Since 2016, Russia’s dictator really hasn’t stepped out of line too much in international affairs.

Sure, he may have had a few political opponents assassinated, but that’s an issue for his country to deal with, not ours.

We get it, though…

Trump isn’t going to take that kind of BS. If Putin had decided to keep up the aggressive global bully act with our current president in charge, he would have been met in kind by The Donald.

However, with the outcome of the 2020 election leaning in Biden’s favor, that pillar of strength will no longer stand in the White House. Trump’s “America First” policy will be replaced with the Beta mentality of the Obama years, and “The Big Guy” is sure to bend over backward and give Putin everything he had before.

For that reason, Putin’s already starting to flex the muscles that he hasn’t been able to use the past four years—and recently, Russia launched missiles from submarines, underground silos, and aircraft in what was seen as a display of might and nuclear capabilities.

These drills were all conducted under the command of Putin himself, and it displayed Russia’s full nuclear triad: missiles sent from land, air, and sea.

It comes to no surprise that Putin put his arsenal on display just two months away from the expiration of the arms control treaty that Obama and then-President Medvedev signed back in 2010.

Now, while Russia and the United States have been talking about extending the treaty, this display, coupled with other factors, may hint towards the idea that this may not be an easy negotiation.

America Is Losing More Than A President…It’s Losing Its Protector

Nor does it come as a surprise that Putin did this while America is in turmoil over our most recent election.

To the rest of the world, it’s clear that America will be getting a much softer President when it comes to tolerating acts of aggression.

If you think the timing of all of this is a coincidence…you’re sorely mistaken.

There’s a reason that Putin has waited until NOW to put on this display of might…

And Trump being ousted (either by vote or by coup—that has yet to be determined) is the key to it all.

This is why we’ve fought so hard to keep Trump in office…

The wolves are already beginning to circle…and it looks like we’re losing our sheepdog.

“Most people are like sheep. Nice, harmless creatures who want nothing more than to be left alone so they can graze. But then of course there are wolves. Who want nothing more than to eat the sheep. But there’s a third kind of person. The sheepdog. Sheepdogs have fangs like wolves. But their instinct isn’t predation. It’s protection. All they want, what they live for, is to protect the flock.” ― Barry Eisler
