Vladimir Putin has been rattling the saber HARD over the past few months, and it’s hard not to draw the correlation between his renewed aggression and the inauguration of Sleepy Joe Biden.

It makes sense…

When strength left the White House and was replaced by weakness, Putin saw it as the perfect opportunity to return to his despotic ways.

Do you think it was a coincidence that Russia annexed Crimea during Obama’s presidency?

Do you think it was a coincidence that Putin didn’t try anything while Donald Trump was sitting in the Oval Office?

Even more, do you think it is a coincidence that he’s building up forces at the Russia/Ukraine border now that Sleepy Joe Biden is sitting behind the Resolute desk?

Of course, you don’t…because if you’re anything like me, you don’t believe in too much coincidence.

Why Putin Is Acting Out

It’s not a coincidence, and while Joe Biden isn’t exactly taking Russia’s transgressions lying down (he did institute sanctions on them over what’s happening in the region he used to oversee under Obama), he’s definitely not the pillar of strength that Donald Trump was.

But while Putin is rattling his saber, Biden is rattling his cane—and that’s not a good look for America.

The tension between our two nations has been there for decades.

However, things had hit a lull since Russia annexed Crimea back in 2014, when Obama chose to let the two countries has it out themselves.

During Trump’s time in the White House, it seemed that Putin and 45 had a relationship built on mutual respect, similar temperament, and understanding of the power each man wielded.

Like two alpha dogs in a room, they both realized that diplomacy was the better avenue for avoiding mutual destruction.

However, last month, those tensions escalated when Biden was asked by a Liberal journalist George Stephanopoulos whether he thought Putin was a killer. Biden stupidly answered, “Mmm, I do.”

It’s funny…for a practiced and polished career politician, that was a very undiplomatic answer.

Trump’s was way more diplomatic—which may be why he never got America close to war during his four years in office, but was also why the Left accused him of being in bed with Putin.

Biden’s answer obviously didn’t sit well with Putin, which is why his barely-veiled threat against Biden (the wink and the nod and the “I wish him good health” comment) didn’t get much pushback from the international community.

And so, it’s no surprise since tensions have been heightened. Putin is no longer accepting Biden’s phone calls, even when Joe called him to talk about the growing Russian forces at the Ukraine border.

Two Nations On The Brink?

Since then, Biden has indeed levied sanctions against Russia, though it doesn’t seem that Putin really cares. Not only has he not recalled the troops, but he responded to Biden only indirectly with his recent address to his nation.

Putin isn’t holding back from the saber-rattling, revealing in his speech that his country is producing powerful new weapons, and warning that enemies who cross an undefined “red line” will pay the price.

Putin went on to say that Russia wants to have good relationships with the international community, “including those with whom relations have broken down recently. We really don’t want to burn bridges.”

That’s a statement that could absolutely be pointed towards Biden and the United States.

He then added, “Those who mistake this stance for weakness need to know that Russia’s response [to aggression] will be asymmetrical, swift and harsh,” and then warned that any nation that provokes him or the country “will regret their deeds in a way they have not regretted anything else for a long time.”

Things are breaking down.

Is this relationship salvageable? Can Biden end this escalation of rhetoric before it really gets going?

We can only hope…

But after watching his Secretary of State deal with China, I’m not going to hold my breath.

Funny, Trump didn’t bring us anywhere CLOSE to war over the past four years…

And here Biden is, on the cusp of being one of the causes of World War III.

You can’t make this story up…

Let’s hope cooler heads prevail. Our countries and our WORLD depend on it.

“Mankind needs peace more than ever, for our entire planet, threatened by nuclear war, is in danger of total destruction. A destruction only man can provoke, only man can prevent.” – Elie Wiesel

Editor’s Note:

Is war inevitable? More importantly, for the first time since the Cold War, is America on the verge of nuclear destruction? It seems more likely now than it has in decades, and that may be why the rich and elite are setting up bunkers on a private island a short plane ride from the United States… and yes, even Donald Trump has a lot there!
