Frontrunning Big Pharma company, Pfizer, is winning the race to become the first to manufacture an effective COVID-19 vaccine for widespread distribution throughout the United States.

While many “scientists” and “experts” said the task was impossible, the Trump Administration’s unprecedented “Warp Speed” vaccine production effort is proving successful amid new reports that it prevents infection in most people.

Pfizer and its partner BioNTech announced on Monday that their experimental coronavirus vaccine is more than 90% effective based on early results from clinical trials.

The company is reportedly seeking emergency authorization use for 50 million vaccine doses which could be distributed as early as December and up to 1.3 billion doses could be distributed in 2021, Reuters reported.

Pfizer’s chairman and CEO, Albert Bourla, described the news as a great thing “for science and humanity”.

“We are reaching this critical milestone in our vaccine development program at a time when the world needs it most with infection rates setting new records, hospitals nearing over-capacity and economies struggling to reopen,” Bourla said.

The positive news comes less than a week after the 2020 presidential election where a winner remains undetermined amid voter fraud allegations and recounts.

Despite election uncertainty, Wall Street rallied at the news that America could be fully reopening as soon as a vaccine is widely available.

President Trump celebrated the news on Twitter where he said, “STOCK MARKET UP BIG, VACCINE COMING SOON. REPORT 90% EFFECTIVE. SUCH GREAT NEWS!”

Although many Americans do not want to take the vaccine when it comes out, all we can hope for is that the government does not overstep their boundaries with the American people by mandating a vaccine.

However, making it widely available is undoubtedly necessary to begin mass reopening efforts.

Hopefully, in 2021, we will begin seeing some semblance of the old “normal” we had before the pandemic lockdowns plagued the country and the world.
