It’s funny…

Liberals have no problems with guns as long as they’re either protecting them or being pointed at Conservatives.

Look at the difference in their response to the Capitol Hill riots compared to the riots that happened all over America during the summer/fall of 2020.

They went from, “We need to disarm and abolish the police” to “Shoot them all” REALLY quick.

But this shouldn’t surprise you….

Dems and Liberals operate from a “double standard” state of mind. So, of course they see no problem with having the guns on their side even when they can’t stand the thought of someone across the aisle having the same power.

What the Capitol Hill riots proved is that, when you push people to the point of breaking, they may push back. When that happens, you better be prepared to face the consequences of your actions when those chickens come home to roost.

There Are Two Kinds Of People In This World…

When something of that magnitude happens, there are two ways you can react: You can take a victim’s mentality, blame everybody but yourself and then cower behind locked doors like a scared little kitten, or you can decide to take the power back and protect you and yours from the wolves at the door.

You can see the mentality if you look down the party lines in the Legislature. There are tons of Democrats ready to throw down the big bucks to hire private guards and implement more stringent security measures.

However, within the ranks of the GOP, we see congressmen and senators taking their protection upon their own shoulders by demanding that they be able to exercise their Second Amendment rights while in the Capitol building.

Of course, this isn’t making uber-Lib Nancy Pelosi, the nastiest person in DC, very happy.

That’s why she BLASTED her legislative colleagues in the GOP for wanting to arm themselves in the event of another siege like the one that occurred on January 6th.

Of her gun-toting fellow Congress members, Pelosi said, “We will probably need a supplemental for more security for members when the enemy is within the House of Representatives.”

Of course, when pressed to specify what she meant by the “enemies within,” Pelosi snapped, “It means that we have members of Congress who want to bring guns onto the floor and have threatened violence on other members of Congress.”

Nasty Nancy’s Dangerous Labels

The “threats” she’s referring to are from Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene, who, before being elected, liked social media posts that suggested the execution top Democrats.

Taylor Greene is a firebrand, and she represents a more vocal and angry section of the population, but “liking” a social media post doesn’t mean that you condone violence; it just means you can understand the sentiment. Taylor Greene understands that many on the Right are getting angrier and angrier with each new law that restricts their freedoms.

However, calling her fellow lawmakers “enemies” is nothing but dangerous rhetoric from Pelosi.

It pits one side against the other—and when you’re in a position of leadership like Pelosi is, your goal should be unity and cooperation, not division.

That is what Pelosi is doing…

Not only is she setting people against each other, but she’s denying people the right to feel safe while doing their job, and calling them “enemies” for wanting to ensure their own safety.

The fact that she has the cojones to do that should tell you everything you need to know about power and influence in DC…

You can’t heal a nation when the people in power continually try to divide us.

“The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.” – Ayn Rand
