Didn’t we say it?
Didn’t we say that the Democrats would rip themselves apart without conservatives having to raise a finger?
And it’s happening in such a glorious manner that it has many conservatives giddy with anticipation for what’s to come.
One the most recent instances of this self-cannibalism just occurred between two of the more popular names in the DNC.
Do you know John Delaney is?
Probably not, as it’s easy to lose a 2020 DNC presidential hopeful among the THRONGS of leftists vying for the nomination, but Delaney is one of the almost two dozen people in that category.
What makes Delaney different from the rest?
He’s a centrist…
And his own party HATES him for the fact that he’s not progressive enough, lambasting him for urging for bipartisan cooperation.
Just recently he was BOOED at an appearance with fellow Democrats when he had the audacity to say that Medicare for All was “not a good policy.”
So to say he’s at odds with the rest of his party — who seem to toe the line between lunacy and fanaticism — would be an understatement.
AOC FLEXES Her Political Muscle
In response to this, AOC decided to take to her safe space, her Twitter page, and tweet about Delaney’s responses, saying, “Since there’s so many people running for President (and not enough for Senate), instead of obsessing over who’s a ‘frontrunner,’ maybe we can start with some general eliminations. This awful, untrue line got booed for a full minute. John Delaney, thank you but please sashay away.”
Who the hell is SHE to be dismissing ANYBODY?
Not only is she new to the job — but she’s out of her league. She doesn’t have the kind of knowledge needed to do right by her constituents over the next two years…
For her to dismiss John Delaney — somebody who’s been on the job six years longer than she has and has had tremendous success outside of politics — like he’s beneath her is very telling about the prevailing attitude that is running rampant on that side of the aisle.
But she kept going…
She tweeted again, “Medicare for All IS sound policy – one may disagree with it, but plenty of other countries have single payer and better outcomes than the U.S.”
This raised the ire of John Delaney, and he tweeted back at her:
“Hey @AOC, we have the same goal, universal healthcare for everyone, we just have different ways of getting there. Healthcare is the #1 issue for voters, so let’s debate the way forward. Any show of your choosing. Healthcare is too important for tweets, we need real discussion.”
It surprises nobody that AOC shot him down…
His response: “At a minimum, we have to be tolerant of different views on achieving the same goal: universal healthcare. That’s why I responded to @aoc tweet with a debate offer. This isn’t about slogans – people’s lives are at stake. We need debates and the truth.”
Ilhan Omar to the UNECESSARY Rescue
Apparently, Ilhan Omar didn’t like Delaney coming back at her pal…
So, she decided to put her nose in other people’s business and show her support to AOC when she responded to Delaney’s tweet, saying, “No means no!”
As if him asking to debate AOC is something akin to date rape.
It’s a disgusting display of power by Omar and belittles those who have experienced the horror of date rape.
But what would you expect from a liberal?
They have their own set of rules…
But that fine.
Let them keep going down this destructive road they’re headed on.
They’ll have nobody to blame for their 2020 loss but themselves.
