Drip, drip, drip…
In keeping with the growing trend, more information has leaked out showing that President Obama was up to his eyeballs in the investigation and apparent set-up of Trump National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn, as well as the Russia hoax investigation.
The latest news to be revealed comes to us from Lisa Page’s lover boy, FBI agent Peter Strzok. Strzok jotted notes down from a conversation he had with then-FBI Director James Comey. Comey relayed the conversation he had in the Oval Office on January 5, 2017, with President Obama, Vice President Biden, Deputy Assistant AG Sally Yates, and National Security Advisor Susan Rice.
What Comey revealed to Strzok confirms what many of us have suspected for the past three years: Barack Obama was calling the shots on the entire investigation.
The Federalist reported that “the handwritten notes, which were first disclosed in a federal court filing made by the Department of Justice on Tuesday, show President Obama himself personally directed former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to investigate Flynn for having routine phone calls with a Russian counterpart. He also suggests they withhold information from President Trump and his key national security figures…
The new notes, which record Comey’s accounting to Strzok of the meeting’s substance, constitute definitive evidence that Obama himself was personally directing significant aspects of a criminal investigation into his political enemy’s top foreign policy adviser.”
There is a copy of Strzok’s handwritten notes embedded in the report. In it, Obama specifically tells the FBI to “put the right people on it” and asks if he should withhold information from the Trump team. Clearly, he is directing aspects of the investigation.
Also, in the notes—and possibly most significant—it is revealed to Obama, by James Comey, that the Flynn call was “legit.” So, Obama was told the call was “legitimate” the day after the FBI cleared Flynn, but he still told them to keep the investigation alive.
But, hey guys, Barack Obama had a “scandal-free” presidency. That is what his supporters and the media have told us for the past three and a half years. His only real scandal was wearing that tan suit at a press conference.
If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. The key to blowing up the story that Obama wasn’t involved in targeting the Trump team is that now-infamous January 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting.
Last month, Fox News reported, “Barack Obama was aware of the details of then-incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn’s intercepted December 2016 phone calls with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, apparently surprising then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, according to documents released Thursday as exhibits to the government’s motion to dismiss the Flynn case…
On January 5, 2017, Yates attended an Oval Office meeting with then-FBI Director James Comey, then-Vice President Joe Biden, then-CIA Director John Brennan, and then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, according to the newly declassified documents, including an FD-302 FBI witness report. They were discussing Russian election interference, along with national security adviser Susan Rice and other members of the national security council.
After the briefing, Obama asked Yates and Comey to ‘stay behind,’ and said he had ‘learned of the information about Flynn’ and his conversation with Russia’s ambassador about sanctions. Obama ‘specified that he did not want any additional information on the matter, but was seeking information on whether the White House should be treating Flynn any differently, given the information.”
Now we know, thanks to Peter Strozk’s notes, that Obama was more than just aware of the Flynn investigation, and it appears he directed the FBI to continue to investigate Flynn even though he had been told that Michael Flynn had a legitimate phone call with the Russian ambassador.
However, Obama wasn’t done with Flynn. He had a personal dislike of General Flynn that went back years, and these personal conflicts seem to have been a motivation as well.
Now that we know Obama was actively involved in the ruining of Michael Flynn’s reputation it isn’t a stretch to believe he had a bigger role in the spying operation against the Trump campaign via the FISA warrant against Trump campaign advisor, Carter Page. With the Durham investigation set to release a report this summer, more will be revealed.
The country will find out that Obama had a far more scandalous presidency than just wearing a tan suit…as if we needed more proof of that.
