California Governor Gavin Newsom is completely out of control with his arbitrary, unlawful restrictions in the name of “fighting the coronavirus pandemic.”

I say “arbitrary,” but at this point, more fitting words to describe Gavin Newsom’s actions might be “dictatorial,” “anti-American,” or even “tyrannical.”

There is no logical “science” to back up his draconian mandates, but even if there was, the measures would still be unconstitutional at best.

Just last week, “King Newsom,” as one San Diego news outlet sarcastically called him, locked down many counties up and down the state for the second time this year due to “spiking” coronavirus cases.

All indoor dining, church service, and working out at gyms must cease this week as the measure goes into effect.

But forcing many more California businesses to permanently close their doors still wasn’t enough for Newsom.

Newsom said in a press conference on Monday that he is also considering a complete statewide lockdown to “slow the spread” of the virus.

I’d like to point out that if Newsom’s first overreaching lockdown measures didn’t work, where beaches were closed, surfers were barred from the ocean, and it was against the mandate to leave your house for any “nonessential” reason, then why would a second round work?

If you’re searching for a scientific reason to justify round two, then you’ll be looking for a long time.

If you think in terms of power, it’s easy to see why he would want to implement more unconstitutional mandates.

But, even worse than the fact that Newsom is considering a statewide curfew is his inspiration for doing so.

“I have on my desk, quite literally, three studies from France, Germany, and Saudi Arabia, interestingly, that have done comprehensive studies on the efficacy of their strategies as it relates to curfews,” Newsom told reporters.

So now he tells Californians the idea to implement a curfew is, in part, based on how Saudi Arabia handled the coronavirus.

Let us not forget that Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s worst violators of human rights. It’s the country that brutally punishes gays, uses Sharia Law, and is one of the worst places in the world for human trafficking.

Germany and France aren’t exactly prime examples of what the United States should model their policies after either. Both countries are plagued by violent Middle East refugees who assault and often viciously murder citizens – and the governments do little to stop it.

Yet these are the countries Newsom is studying.

We should be disturbed that the California governor has become so unhinged that he would use these countries as examples of how to run America’s most populous state. Unfortunately, this has become very common among Leftists across the country.

In 2020, it’s not unusual to see Democrats openly embrace ideas like Marxism, communism, socialism, or any form of government where a select few exert full control on the rest of the population. Apparently, in Newsom’s case, it’s a monarchy – he does act as if he’s the King of California after all. We are living in scary times but hopefully the people become educated enough to vote these tyrants out.
