In modern times, there has never been a more obvious instance of treason than what General Mark Milley is being accused of doing.
A new book by famed Washington reporter Bob Woodward, set to hit bookshelves on September 21st, contains a report that could be enough to put it on the best sellers list right out of the gate…and it could land Milley behind bars in the process.
The accusation claims that the Chairman for the Joint Chiefs of Staff allegedly called Chinese officials and reassured them that he would warn them if Trump were going to initiate an attack on their country.
Yes, perhaps the highest-ranking official in all of the US military promised a foreign enemy that he would give them advanced warning if the sitting commander-in-chief ordered an attack on China.
It’s like an uppercut right to the breadbasket.
However, while this is still just an allegation for now, the fact that nobody from the Pentagon is doing anything to get in front of this or deny this story is a pretty good sign that it may be true.
So, it begs the question…should Milley resign?
The Case For Milley’s Resignation
If you ask Conservatives (the only people that seem to care about America’s safety these days), the answer is a resounding “yes.”
However, if you were to ask a Liberal, they’ll likely say that Milley did the right thing by “protecting the world from Trump” (you know, the guy that kept us out of war and should be regarded as the most peaceful president we’ve had in decades).
However, that opinion may not be shared by perhaps the most famous whistleblower of the past five years, retired Lt Col Alexander Vindman.
Vindman, who came to fame when he tried to rat out President Trump for asking for the Ukrainian president to open an investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden, has made his thoughts known on what he feels that General Milley should do.
Vindman tweeted, “If this is true GEN Milley must resign. He usurped civilian authority, broke Chain of Command, and violated the sacrosanct principle of civilian control over the military. It’s an extremely dangerous precedent. You can’t simply walk away from that. #dotherightthingintherightway”

While I never thought I would agree with anything that Alexander Vindman said, in this instance, he’s absolutely right.
Regardless of what he FELT like he was doing, if Milley did do this, it’s treason, plain and simple. Not only should he resign, but he should also be court-martialed and serve hard time if convicted.
That being said, there may be ANOTHER twist to this story bigger than Milley selling out America to the Chinese government.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi may have also overstepped HER bounds as well.
Nasty Nancy: A Traitor As Well?
Pelosi had previously admitted she spoke to Milley a few days after the January 6th riots about taking “available precautions” to prevent Trump from initiating military action or ordering a nuclear launch, and she told colleagues she was given unspecified assurances that there were longstanding safeguards in place.
It’s not her place to prevent anything…
It’s her place to legislate, and it’s the president’s place to make decisions about where to send out troops and our bombs.
If this is true and Nasty Nancy was in on this plot too, she needs to resign and be tried for treason as well.
Enough is enough.
These people could have been responsible for the deaths of thousands or even millions of Americans through their actions, and they should be made to pay the price.
This does NOT help the Left’s claim that they didn’t steal the election away from Donald Trump.
If Vindman thinks that Milley subverted the American people, then he almost certainly did. These aren’t charges that people throw around lightly.
Let’s hope this is just a tactic to sell books and NOT an actual instance of treason…because if it is, we’re way worse off than we even thought.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.” – Marcus Tullius Cicero
