On Wednesday, Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States. Predictably, the “objective” mainstream news media drooled all over their news desks on the occasion.

Based on their coverage alone, not since Gandhi has there been such a unifying leader who stood up to tyranny like Joe Biden. According to them, Biden was sent from heaven above to heal our broken nation. He will do as Lincoln did and “bind up our nation’s wounds” and encourage us all to appeal to “the better angels” of our nature. He will part the seas as Moses did and save our planet from catastrophic climate change…blah, blah, blah. You get the point.

This is, unfortunately, how the next four years are going to be, so we’d better get used to it. Is it any wonder why Republicans don’t trust the media? Only 18% do, and only 46% of Americans in general.

It is hard to deny former President Trump’s condemnation of the media when he said that they were “the enemy of the people.”

Fox News’ Chris Wallace said that Biden’s Inauguration speech was the best he had ever heard (What happened to Chris Wallace? He used to be a decent anchor, but he now he apparently suffers from TDS).

Biden is now the “great communicator.” That title no longer belongs to Ronald Reagan, because his classic 1981 Inauguration pales in comparison to Sleep Joe’s Captain Unity speech.

The following are examples of swooning media coverage of Joe Biden as reported by Joseph Curl at JusttheNews.com. Get ready to cringe:

“What a great love story between Jill Biden and Joe Biden,’ MSNBC host Joy Reid said breathlessly. ‘It’s a wonderful story, and we haven’t had a love story in the White House in four years.’

That, of course, stands in sharp contrast to how the MSM portrayed the Trumps’ marriage. Yahoo News reported this big story just a couple months ago, headlined, ‘Six Times Melania Trump Has Swatted Away Donald Trump.’

Reid wasn’t done. ‘God bless Joe Biden,’ she said. ‘This is a truly, deeply religious man with incredible compassion, and he’s got a great partner in Kamala Harris.’

CBS’ John Dickerson — famous for asking then-President George W. Bush, ‘What would your biggest mistake be?’ — gushed, ‘This is Joe Biden’s day, but actually it’s not Joe Biden’s day. It’s the country’s day.’

NBC’s Chuck Todd, who hosts the long-running ‘Meet the Press,’ called Biden ‘the better angel president,’ ‘a breath of fresh air” and ‘a man who gave Americans permission to feel good about who we are.’

Joe Biden believes,” Todd said. ‘He’s eternally optimistic. He’s not cynical.’

Biden, though, told all Americans in his inaugural address that they need to denounce the ‘racism, nativism, fear, demonization’ that he said prompted the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol by Trump supporters. Feel good yet?

‘This is an address like no other,’ CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer said.

CNN’s Gloria Borger said: ‘Here is a man who gave Americans permission to feel good about who we are and what we can become again.’

ABC News’ Byron Pitts called Biden ‘papa-in-chief,’ while MSNBC’s Brian Williams said the country is ‘back and under new management.’”

Buckle up gang, the next four years are going to be cringeworthy. Make sure to keep a barf bag near your recliner, because you’re going to need it.
