Instead of overlooking or ignoring the massive election fraud problem staring the GOP in the face, Arizona Republicans are taking the issue head-on by demanding one of the most contested counties in the nation be audited.

Republicans made monumental progress in the battle for election integrity in Maricopa County, Arizona, one of the hotspots for voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, when they hired several auditing firms to recount the 2.1 million ballots cast in the county last November.

Maricopa County came under scrutiny in the 2020 election as it was one of the counties that uses Dominion voting machines.

Of course, the audit is likely limited with the possibility that some ballots were permanently ruined in “SharpieGate” when officials allegedly knowingly gave Election Day voters sharpies to mark their votes knowing that the tabulation machine would not recognize that type of pen.

Then there are the ballots that were intentionally thrown out, such as a stack of unopened mail-in ballots found in Glendale at an intersection “underneath some concrete and rocks,” as Fox News reported.

Who knows how many ballots were lost, hidden, thrown out, or permanently damaged?

But, as for the ballots that were counted, the Arizona Republican Party intends to ensure the legitimacy of Maricopa County’s 2020 general election.

Arizona GOP Senate President Karen Fann announced Wednesday they have hired four firms to conduct a forensic audit of Maricopa County election results

The Arizona Senate Republicans said in a press release that the “broad and detailed” audit will include, “testing the machines, scanning the ballots, performing a full hand count and checking for any IT breaches.”

The group promised, “there will be a full report for the Senate and County to review.” Voters can expect full transparency from this audit as “it can be a big step in returning trust and confidence in our election process,” the statement reads.

However, Democrats and Dominion curiously oppose the audit which seeks to find the truth about the Maricopa County election results.

“The firms selected to conduct this audit are beyond biased. Publicly available information shows they are led by conspiracy theorists and QAnon supporters who have helped spread the Big Lie,” a representative for Dominion said, according to The Hill. “Dominion supports all forensic audits conducted by independent, federally-accredited Voting System Test Labs — but this is not that.”

One of the great things about America is that we have historically prided ourselves on maintaining a healthy distance from the government’s grip as we believe in independence and liberty.

It would be utterly asinine to use a “federally-accredited” voting system test lab to audit what half the country thinks are fraudulent election results for a federal election.

The private sector may very well be the key to answering questions Arizona Republicans have been wondering for months—questions that the courts refused to answer.
