Dehumanization is a tactic of the desperate.
When you have to resort to “dehumanizing” your political adversaries, it’s likely because you’ve lost the argument and no longer have any moral ground to stand on.
Facts are important. The TRUTH is important. These are the key to winning any political debate or argument. The instant you stray away from focusing on the truth, the moment you ignore the other side’s valid arguments just because you dislike them, is the moment that you’ve lost all hope for winning the discussion. At that moment, you should know that there is a flaw in your view on whatever issue you’re discussing.
While both sides are guilty of this (I dare a Conservative to honestly say they haven’t called a Liberal a “snowflake,” “Libtard,” or “baby-killer”), the Left as a whole resorts to labeling faster and more often than the Right does.
Now, that’s not a scientific fact, just purely anecdotal observations, but I see this on a daily basis with my forays into the social media world.
The Loss Of Civility And Civil Discourse
I’ve been hit with every possible label you could imagine, which is surprising. Never before in my life have I been labeled ANYTHING other than “big guy” or “ya’ big gorilla.”
However, over the course of the past few years, I’ve been called: racist, bigot, homophobe, transphobic, misogynist, colonizer, and a plethora of other Liberal buzzwords.
However, I’ve gotten these labels not for what I’ve said or what I’ve posted, but simply because I support Trump.
It’s been a long weird trip, but it’s also been enlightening and has done nothing but strengthen my resolution on this matter.
Their barbs… their labels… their disgusting words…all of these have proven that I made the correct choice when taking that red pill.
However, that doesn’t mean I’m not still a little surprised when I read the hate from one of these unhinged Leftists. They always go a little nuts and write something that’s so obviously nonsensical that it boggles the mind that they’d even hid the “send” button.
I came across one recently during my internet-surfing that stopped me in my tracks—not because of the words used, but because of the closed-minded fascism that it represents.
The cognitive dissonance that this person had to ignore to post is monumental—and after reading it, I’m sure you’ll feel the same way.
I wanted to share it EXACTLY as written, typos and all, to show you just how far out there these people are.
So… here we go.
The Liberal Labeling Machine Is RUNNING
“I usually try not to make posts about politics. But here we are. Let me be clear: if you ACTIVELY SUPPORT Donald Trump, you are a racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, hate filled human being. There were Germans who supported Hitler because he had a good economy, do you know who they were? Still nazis. I’m done pretending like your views are valid, they aren’t. Your ‘opinions’ infringe on the rights of women, black people, POC, and LGTBQ+ individuals. Every single senator that voted to confirm Amy is nothing more than a spineless lapdog for Donald Trump. So let me answer your question: yes Joe Biden will pack the court. Donald Trump just forced him to pack the court if he wins the presidency to protect the basic human rights of millions of Americans. Donald Trump has no honor, no humility, and no love for the American people. Let me reiterate: IF YOU SUPPORT DONALD TRUMP, you are a hate-filled human being. You are not a good person. You are not a patriot. You. Aren’t. American.”
Imagine being THIS unhinged…this misled…this lost.
It’s a scary scenario, right?
This person doesn’t have a foot in reality, yet they’re still able to cast their vote in the coming election.
Maybe we need Red Flag laws for VOTING rather than gun ownership?
But this is what we’re up against, folks – and please, don’t think this is an individual case. This is becoming more the norm than the exception.
Can you see now why it’s so important to vote?
Please, don’t sit this one out…
Cast your vote for America by re-electing Donald Trump as your President.
The future of America depends on it…
“Are you a communist?”
“No I am an anti-fascist”
“For a long time?”
“Since I have understood fascism.”
