While it’s certainly weird that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un’s weight loss is making international headlines, it’s nonetheless captured people’s attention simply because of the fact that no one knows why it’s happening.

People have talked about North Korea’s ongoing food shortages being the culprit, or even hypothesized about a disease of some sort…but I have a different theory.

A few years ago, while Trump was still in the White House and America was winning so much that we had to create our own problems, Trump and Un had a bit of a falling out—and I think that THIS might be to blame for the communist dictator’s shocking weight loss.

The row occurred when Trump was in Vietnam and the North Korean propaganda machine was working full-bore. The North Korea Foreign Ministry called the then-President an “old lunatic” and a “warmonger.”

So, Trump being Trump, he decided to fire back at the North Koreans, saying in a tweet (which we can now no longer see thanks to the former president’s social media ban) “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me ‘old,’ when I would NEVER call him ‘short and fat?’ Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!”

And of course, many people around the world who saw the humor in this had a good chuckle and then moved on.

But in all likelihood, this was the first time that ANYBODY called Kim Jong Un “fat.”

Did Trump Fat Shame North Korea’s Dictator?

Maybe that petty exchange with Trump was the first time that anyone had dared to tell Un the truth about his appearance, and it came as a bit of a wake-up call. It’s all but guaranteed that no in the entire country has ever called him a disparaging name before…and if they have, they certainly didn’t live long enough to do it again.

So what if Trump’s tweet woke him up to a reality that he never realized before, inspiring him to make a lifestyle change?

If so, that would be AMAZING! Imagine if Trump “fat shamed” a world leader into losing weight!

Can you imagine?

We can only hope, right?

Of course, this would go against the Left’s idea that “fat shaming” is bad…

But if it shows somebody the truth and they get healthy, isn’t that a GOOD thing?
