During Trump’s presidency, I would tell people that Trump was the most transparent, most intensely-vetted president we’ve EVER had.
Well, for one thing, he was investigated for months even before he was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States—and then once he was in office, he endured YEARS of investigations after that.
Investigations that turned up NOTHING, much to the Left’s chagrin.
He was also the most transparent because everything he said was scrutinized down to the letter.
Trump’s transparency had more to do with his bluntness and willingness to speak frankly than by any design to let the American people know what was going on, but it was refreshing nonetheless.
Remember, we came from the Obama administration that didn’t let the American people know anything….
During the Trump administration, the people knew pretty much EVERYTHING, regardless of whether they wanted to or not.
Well, it seems like the “return to normalcy” that Biden promised also meant a shift back towards the secretive and clandestine tactics of Obama…because Biden apparently isn’t willing to tell the American people anything.
A Return… To Silence
And while we get why Biden’s speeches and public appearances have been limited, we don’t understand why the White House is cutting of every last avenue of information the press could use to keep the American people informed.
There are three things that the American people want from ALL of our presidents: transparency, accessibility, and accountability.
With Biden in charge, we’re being denied all of these things.
The White House is severely limiting press and public access to Biden, as it seems that the “Big Guy” (don’t think we forgot about those Hunter emails) is struggling with the demands of the job.
One of the ways they’re curbing access is by not revealing who the President actually meets with.
If that’s not a red flag, then I don’t know what is.
While the White House has said that while it will reveal records of individuals who PHYSICALLY visit the president, it will NOT be sharing virtual visitor logs.
Except that’s the way that Biden meets with MOST nowadays, given that the administration has relied heavily on virtual meetings out of concerns that COVID might spread in face-to-face gatherings.
One anonymous White House official told Politico that the administration’s refusal to release virtual meeting logs was in line with “the same way that previous administrations didn’t release phone logs.”
Trump met with people because he wasn’t afraid of COVID…
And a log of what was said is a lot different than just a list of who Biden’s meeting with.
A Winning Strategy To Lose Trust
But like I said, these aren’t the only lines of communication that have been severed.
The White House has also shut down its comment line where ordinary people can call in to leave comments for the executive branch.
It was ROARING during Trump’s tenure…
But if you call it now, a recording claims that the comment office is “temporarily closed” and asks callers to visit the White House’s contact page instead.
And that’s not all.
Biden’s people have also removed the once-popular “We the People” petitioning platform originally started by Obama and continued through the Trump administration.
Try to go there now and you’ll simply be rerouted to the White House’s main page.
And the cherry on top of the poo-flavored cake is that White House tours have been “suspended until further notice.”
You know, the house that belongs to the American people?
You’re not allowed to go to it…
But even as late as mid-December, Trump was still encouraging Americans to schedule tours through their congressional representatives.
So, the strategy is simple: Keep Biden hidden so the American people can’t see how big of a mistake they actually made by electing the cognitively challenged candidate as President of the United States.
It’s a strategy that’s worked well so far…
But how long will they be able to keep up the façade?
“Censorship no longer works by hiding information from you; censorship works by flooding you with immense amounts of misinformation, of irrelevant information, of funny cat videos, until you’re just unable to focus.” – Yuval Noah Harari
The White House strategy to keep Joe quiet is working. Like a troublesome child, they’re thinking it’s better he’s seen and not heard. That’s smart on their part, because too much time in public would expose him for the empty shell he truly is. It just goes to show you, if you’re going to win at something, you can’t just run in blindly. Having a strategy is often the key to success. That goes double when looking for success in investing. If you think you’re going to just be able to pick winners and make a mint off your gut instinct, you’re be sorely mistaken. It takes YEARS of experience to come up with a strategy – which is why so many people trust Paul Mampilly.
