2021 is already shaping up to be better than 2020 amid the news that yet another Leftist has curiously announced he is relinquishing his position of power at the end of the year.

First, Amazon’s trillionaire founder Jeff Bezos broke the news earlier this week that he will be leaving his role as CEO by the third Quarter of 2021.

Now, Jeff Zucker, President of CNN Worldwide, reportedly announced in a morning call with employees on Thursday that he will be stepping down when his contract is up at the end of 2021.

A source familiar with the call quoted Zucker as saying, “I’m going to stay and finish my current contract, which…will keep me here until the end of the year. At that point, I do expect to move on,” Forbes revealed.

Multiple reports say Zucker has had a rocky relationship with CNN owner AT&T in recent years amid tanking ratings due to President Trump’s “fake news” campaign.

CNN habitually reports false information and misleading narratives that stray far from reality.

One of the many famous examples is when CNN described the BLM riots as “fiery but mostly peaceful” as a reporter stood in front of a building set ablaze by protestors.

In many other cases, CNN has not only flat out lied to their viewers on live television, but they also repeatedly cut off guests whose speech strayed from the network’s narrative.

CNN has suffered considerably as a result of their editorial choices.

“CNN’s audience shriveled in the second quarter of 2019, averaging only 541,000 total viewers, less than half Fox News Channel’s 1.3 million average,” and during primetime, the network finished, “as the fifteenth most-watched network on basic cable behind networks such as TLC, Investigation Discovery and the Hallmark Channel. CNN averaged a dismal 761,000 primetime viewers while FNC averaged 2.4 million,” Fox News reported.

As if this wasn’t bad enough, CNN employees began secretly recording the network’s morning calls with staffers and sending them to conservative watchdog group Project Veritas.

Project Veritas exposed Zucker’s blatant Left-wing bias several times since 2017 – even further damaging the network’s reputation among viewers.

One CNN insider who came forward to Project Veritas recorded Zucker discussing his “personal vendetta” against President Trump.

All these factors combined make it easy to see why Zucker may be stepping down by the end of this year rather than attempting to renew his contract with the network. Maybe he will be replaced with a more fair-minded individual who can restore fair and honest reporting at the network.
