For all its blustering, saber-rattling, and ill-advised attacks, most people don’t take Iran seriously enough to see them as a threat to America’s democracy.

Sure, they know how to rile up the religious extremists of their country, but the fact is that, for the most part, they’re nothing more than an annoyance to the American way of life.

If the world were a neighborhood, America would be the good kid that tries to do the right thing whenever there were problems…

Russia would be the leader of the bully gang, and China would be their partner in crime.

But Iran?

Iran would be like Russia’s evil little brother, the kid that’s trying to fit in with the big boys but constantly fails due to his lack of size, strength, power, or influence.

However, that doesn’t stop that little brother from wreaking havoc all over the neighborhood.

Eventually, the big brother swoops in to stop him, but only because he doesn’t want his annoying sibling stepping on his toes and messing things up for him, not because he’s trying to do a good deed.

And Iran just stepped on Russia’s toes in a big way.

Russia SUCCEEDED In Their Plan

Russia interfered with our election in 2016. That is beyond dispute at this point. They did it…

But while many on both sides believe they did it to help either Trump or Hillary win, they’re all wrong. The Russians had ONE goal in mind: spreading dissension.

They knew they couldn’t break America’s hold as the top superpower on the planet without breaking them from the inside out…

And if you take a look at what’s going on in America right now, you’ll see they were VERY successful in starting the crack in the American façade.

Division was their aim, and judging by the current political climate, they hit their mark, and China has capitalized on it to their advantage as well.

But welcome to 2020, where the gloves are off, the rules have been thrown out the window, and any ounce of subtlety was left at the door.

In that same vein, Iran, trying to follow in Russia and China’s footsteps, attempted to interfere in the 2020 presidential election in a heavy-handed way.

Where Russia and China were content with creating a political divide, Iran seems to be trying to steer the outcome of the election. As recently discovered by the intelligence community, Iran has been sending out fraudulent emails to Democratic voters signed by the Proud Boys, telling them that the group will come after them if Donald Trump doesn’t win on November 3rd.

Iran’s Laughable Attempt At Voter Interference

If you don’t know who the Proud Boys are, then you haven’t been paying attention to politics. Joe Biden mistakenly labeled this Western chauvinist club a “white supremacist” group, even though the president is of Afro-Cuban descent.

The Iranian email says, “You will vote for Trump on Election Day or we will come after you.”

This may be the lamest attempt at voter intimidation that we’ve ever seen, especially because they know the recipients would take it to the police. It was an attempt to harm one of the organizations that support Trump, not voter suppression. Luckily for us, the intelligence community is on top of things.

DNI Chief John Ratcliffe said in a statement, “We would like to alert the public that we have identified that two foreign actors, Iran and Russia, have taken specific actions to influence public opinion relating to our elections…. We have already seen Iran sending spoofed emails designed to intimidate voters, incite social unrest, and damage President Trump. Although we have not seen the same actions from Russia, we are aware that they have obtained some voter registration information.”

So, a swing and a miss from Russia’s little brother…

But we learned something important from their lame attempt: it’s obvious that Iran doesn’t want Trump to be president.

And if Iran wants Joe Biden in the White House…

That should be more than enough reason to vote for Trump.
