Who is benefitting the most from Biden’s border policies?
It’s certainly not Americans. Arguably, it could be Democrats, but even then, the Biden administration is taking a lot of heat from the mainstream media over the crisis at the border.
The people profiting the most from Biden’s failure to address the border crisis are human traffickers – or as I like to call them, modern-day slave owners.
Criminal organizations that professionally smuggle people across our Southern border reportedly made nearly $14 million dollars every day during the month of February, anonymous border patrol sources revealed to Fox News.
This massive increase in profits for coyotes and cartels comes as tens of thousands of migrants reached the United States border since Biden took office in late January. Some detention facilities at the border are seeing hundreds, sometimes a thousand, of undocumented children and adults rotating through on a daily basis.
“Trafficking is a multibillion-dollar industry,” former Tucson Border Patrol Chief Roy Villareal told Fox. “A lot of these vulnerable populations use their life savings. Some are essentially indentured servants and they’re working off this debt for a long period of time. In other cases, some of these migrants are asked to transport narcotics or some form of crime to work off a different part of their debt.”
According to Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, the influx of migrants who are “indentured servants” to the cartels reach border facilities wearing different colored wristbands that indicate to traffickers who has paid their debt and who hasn’t.
“What this means is that the cartels and the smuggling organizations have created a process because they are being so overrun with people that, even for them, it’s difficult to keep up with who has paid and who hasn’t,” a CBP official told the Center for Immigration Studies.
The way human traffickers and cartels keep track of the migrants once they get inside the United States is by keeping records on “their families in home countries,” the official said. “From there, they can start the threats and hold them accountable through debt bondage, a form of human trafficking. Either pay or we’re going to come after your family.”
He also disclosed price estimates smugglers charge illegal immigrants for their services, according to insiders. They charge about $2,500 for a Mexican migrant, $3,000 for South Americans, $5,000 for Chinese, and $9,000 for Russians and Arabs.
Human trafficking is a lucrative and dangerous business that could be mostly shut down if Biden maintained former President Trump’s strong border policies including building the wall, continuing migrant protection programs, and increased security at the border.
Instead of enabling disadvantaged people from all over the world to find opportunity in America through improving legal immigration processes and shutting down illegal immigration, Biden is instead enabling them to a life of servitude – or slavery – once they get inside the U.S.
