The Left is petty…

Honestly, it’s amazing how low they’ll go when they’re playing the political game.

Their weapon of choice?

Public opinion…

Their technique of choice?

The dreaded boycott.

How many times have you heard about people on the Left attempting to boycott a business because they’ve come out in support of a conservative politician or ideal?

They’ve been trying to boycott Chick-Fil-A for YEARS because of the owner’s Christian views on marriage…

However, that has not stopped the restaurant from becoming the number ONE fast-food company in the United States.

Moreover, what tends to happen when one of these boycotts is called for is that the business does EXCEPTIONALLY well. The free advertising helps get their name out there and some people just like to buck a trend.

But that doesn’t mean that boycotts aren’t effective tools…

When they’re done for the right reason.

Boycotts Work – When The Reason Is PURE

When done for the wrong reason—say for having a differing political opinion—then the boycott does more for the business they’re trying to hurt than anything else.

Recently, Leftists called for a boycott of The Olive Garden restaurants…

Why?

Because there were rumors that the company donated to Trump’s presidential campaign.

The only problem is…

This isn’t true.

Olive Garden never made a donation to Trump (at least that we can find), and the company even said that it was untrue.

However…

Even if it WERE true, it’s a terrible reason to boycott. It’s a simple difference of opinion – those happen in this world. We need to understand that sometimes people just think differently – it doesn’t make their food any better or any worse, it just makes your view different from theirs.

Another recent boycott was of Hasbro games…

Why?

Because the toy company came out with a game that mocks socialism – Monopoly: Socialism – in which the tagline reads “Capitalism is for winners.”

It wasn’t too long after the game was revealed that the Left called the company “mean-spirited” and “woefully ill-informed” and tried pushing the #BoycottHasbro hashtag.

Ridiculous…

There’s a surefire way to end a Leftist boycott – or at least defeat it.

How To DEFEAT A Leftist Boycott

And that’s to face it head-on.

Meaning you don’t back down. You don’t apologize. You don’t remove your goods from the shelves…

Take a stand. Be defiant. Double down on what they’re accusing you of if what they’re saying is true.

If they’re trying to boycott you for your support for Trump – be obstinate! Put up Trump memorabilia everywhere!

If they’re trying to boycott you for your support of traditional marriage, add a discount to married couples!

Or, if your favorite company is coming under fire, go there more often and bring your friends…

Have gatherings and events there, or just share the word on social media and show support any way you can.

That’s how you defeat a boycott…

You don’t apologize for your actions as long as you truly believe you did the right thing…

You own them.

As long as your actions aren’t hurting anybody, you should be free to make money in the United States of America.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness don’t stop because YOUR definition of happy is different than mine…

The Left needs to remember that.
