Some people may say that conservatism and Christianity have nothing to do with each other…

One is a political view the other is a religious ideology.

However…

The truth is that conservative values are, for the most part, Christian values.

The only place that the two may differ is their views on capital punishment and a few other minor issues.

But, in the majority of cases, the two jive with each other very well.

It’s not a secret that our United States government was built upon Judeo-Christian values, and the argument could be made that the more godless America has become, the worse off our country seems to be.

The division…

The hate…

The anger…

This could all be attributed to a move away from those Judeo-Christian values which was done all for the sake of making sure nobody would be offended.

There’s a mantra we say here at FreedomWire…

“Just because you’re offended doesn’t mean you’re right.”

A Troubling And Violent Trend

You could even argue that an attack on conservativism is an attack on Judeo-Christian ideals and vice versa…

Which is what makes what’s going on in Nigeria so troubling.

Nigeria has a violent history…

This isn’t surprising, as many countries throughout the world who have been established longer than the Americas often have a history where violence is the preferred method of persuasion.

However, it’s Nigeria’s modern history that is most troubling, as we are supposed to be living in more civilized times.

Since 2011, Muslims in Nigeria have been SLAUGHTERING Christians at an alarming rate – with over 10,000 killed during that time – and a sickening 9,000 of those deaths coming between June of 2017 and June of 2018…

This was coupled with the burning or destruction of more than 1,000 churches during that same period.

And the current Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari—who is also Muslim and was aided by the Obama administration—continues to add gas to the anti-Christian flame.

Like A Snapshot Of Hell

Father Valentine Obinna attributes these attacks to the clandestinely planned “Islamization of Nigeria”, saying, “People read the handwriting on the wall. It’s obvious. It’s underground. It’s trying to make the whole country a Muslim country. But they are trying to do that in a context with a strong presence of Christians, and that’s why it becomes very difficult for him [Buhari].”

And Father Obinna isn’t the only one…

The former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, says, “The Muslim president has only awarded the murderers with impunity rather than justice and has staffed his government with Islamic officials while doing essentially nothing to give the nation’s Christians, who make up half the population, due representation… Hundreds of indigenous Numan Christians in Adamawa state were attacked and killed by jihadist Fulani herdsmen. When they tried to defend themselves the Buhari govt. sent in the Air Force to bomb hundreds of them and protect the Fulani aggressors. Is this fair? WORLD, TAKE NOTE!”

Or Bishop Matthew Ishaya Audu, who reveals the inconvenient truth, “They want to strike Christians, and the government does nothing to stop them because President Buhari is also of the Fulani ethnic group.”

This is what Christians in the area are dealing with…

And it shows a growing danger in Nigeria and the world.

Even more…

It shows that the world’s mainstream media is more concerned with a 16-year-old misguided girl and a false impeachment story than they are innocent human lives.

Nobody is talking about this…

Nobody is doing anything.

If Trump wasn’t having to deal with all the impeachment and partisan BS, maybe he could have taken care of this by now.

This is something we need to keep our eyes on…
