Thousands of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails obtained by BuzzFeed under a Freedom of Information Act request show the mostly un-redacted truth about what really went on behind the scenes of the pandemic.

More than 3,200 emails between Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and individuals like Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, reporters, and various other entities reveal never-seen-before information about a variety of topics.

However, one topic that was completely redacted from all emails was the Wuhan lab leak.

In one email on Feb. 5, 2020, Dr. Fauci replied to a Sylvia Burwell’s questions about wearing face masks, Newsweek reported.

“Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection,” Fauci wrote.

“The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you,” he added.

Although we knew he had once said this information before he flip-flopped, there it is again in writing.

Remember when the mainstream media demonized the Trump administration for “silencing” Dr. Fauci amid his unpopular takes on pandemic guidance?

Well, as it turns out, they didn’t.

One email from an unidentified woman on Feb. 28, 2020, asked Fauci if Mike Pence “ordered” him “to not inform the public about Coronavirus without approval,” which she adds, “is quite terrifying, especially since Trump has already shown his desire to spread false or incomplete information about this public health crisis,” The Hill reported.

To this, Fauci responded, “I actually have not been muzzled at all by the Vice President.”

He also added in response to a separate question about taking flights, “And BTW, it is safe to fly domestically [REDACTED].”

So, not only did the Trump administration not silence Fauci, but it was also apparently still safe to take flights in America weeks BEFORE the lockdowns.

On March 15, the date lockdowns went into place across most of America, Mark Zuckerberg emailed Dr. Fauci thanking him for his leadership and requesting to collaborate on a “Coronavirus information Hub” that would appear at the top of the page to give “authoritative information.”

“I think it would be useful to include a video from you because people trust and want to hear from our experts rather than just a bunch of agencies and political leaders,” the Facebook CEO said. An invitation that Fauci later obliged, according to Breitbart.

These highlights reflect just a few of the thousands of Fauci’s emails to be reported on as of yet, shedding light on false narratives spun by the media and showing inconsistencies in guidance.

As more emails are revealed, FreedomWire will continue to bring you the latest on this story.
