This revelation is going to make a lot of people angry, but it’s 100% true to say that equality is NOT guaranteed by the US Constitution.

Can you hear the collective sucking in of the Left’s breath at that statement?

Shocking though it may be, there is no mention of equality in the original text of the US Constitution. In fact, there is nothing about equality in any founding documents other than the idea that “all men are created equal” in the eyes of God, found in the Declaration of Independence.

There are THREE rights that the Founding Fathers sought to protect when they finally declared America’s independence from Britain, and they mentioned them specifically in the Declaration:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”

What IS Guaranteed…

As an American, you are guaranteed your LIFE, and no man may hold dominion over your corporeal being.

If the Creator breathed the breath of life into you, then you have the right to keep that gift.

That’s why so many Conservatives are pro-Life. We believe that you are an AMERICAN from the moment you’re conceived, and as an American—as a human being!—you’re guaranteed the right to have your life protected.

Second to the guarantee of life, Americans are guaranteed freedom by their Creator as well.

The freedom to do what they want with their lives as long as what they do doesn’t infringe of the God-given rights of others.


Because NO ONE’S rights supersede those of another. If we were created equal in the eyes of that God, our rights stop where another person’s begin. We may not have been equally gifted in all areas, but in the eyes of our Creator, we’re one and the same.

Thirdly, the right to pursue happiness dovetails off of liberty. The freedom to do what we want is often what makes us happy.

We all have the right to pursue whatever pleasures we wish so long as, again, they don’t infringe on the rights of others.

You can be a painter, an actor, a mechanic, or a hobo…it doesn’t matter. You can do whatever makes you the most content in this world because of the life you were given and the freedom to do what you want with it.

But in all that, the important thing to note is that guaranteed equality was never a part of the equation.

What ISN’T Guaranteed

Think about it…

People are born taller, shorter, fatter, smaller, bigger, skinnier than others every single day. If “equality” was the goal, then there would be doctors who specialized in making people all the same median height.

There are people born with incredible athletic ability, and some born with no aptitude whatsoever.

How do we level that playing field? Slice one Achilles tendon on every person on earth?

Or what about the person that was born smarter than everybody? Do we damage the frontal lobe of that person’s brain to ensure they’re as dumb as the rest of us?

The Left will say that it’s ridiculous to put it this way, saying it’s disingenuous to compare things like physical abilities to the privileges of finances or skin color…but they don’t realize that while we’re all equal, equality is NOT guaranteed.

The only equality that we’re guaranteed in this country is that every American will have the chance to become whatever they wanted to be, with nothing hindering their goals save their own capacity.

If you’re not where you want to be in life, it’ not because you were born a certain color or with a certain dollar amount in the family bank account.

You’re not there because you’re choosing NOT to be. We all have the ability to work for the life we want.

Nothing was ever going to be handed to us…nor should it have been offered.

Our life is what we make it.

That’s what we all have the EQUAL opportunity to do.

So, please, stop trying to create laws and policies that only try to mimic what’s already been given to us by our Creator.

By doing so, you’re only doing the opposite.

You’re allowing others’ rights to supersede those of their fellow Americans—and that’s never going to end well.

Stop chasing equality and start chasing freedom at all costs.

That’s the only thing that will keep us equal.
