What’s happening in Georgia’s general election?

Does the life of our Democracy sit in the hands of activist judges or judges who fear the consequences of doing the right thing?

While in some cases it certainly seems like activist judges are taking matters of the law into their own hands, others are making decisions influenced by intimidation from the Left.

However, thankfully, one federal judge has decided to rule on the side of truth and evidence.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten, Sr., who is presiding over the Georgia election lawsuit, has ordered officials to comply with a restraining order from tampering with the Dominion voting machines used in Cobb, Gwinnett, and Cherokee counties.

This granted a huge win to controversial former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell and top attorney Lin Wood in the lawsuit they put forward during Thanksgiving week. Their lawsuit requested an emergency order be issued to ensure “voting machines be seized and impounded for forensic audit by plaintiffs’ experts.”

The emergency order was the third issued in less than a day regarding the lawsuit which alleges Dominion Voting Systems was criminally involved in switching votes from President Trump to Joe Biden.

This came after Judge Batten overturned his first order, where he sided with Powell and Wood, with a second order which stated, “Plaintiff’s request fails because the voting equipment that they seek to impound is in the possession of county election officials.”

“Any injunction the court issues would extend only to defendants [state election board members] and those within their control, and plaintiffs have not demonstrated that county election officials are within defendants’ control,” he wrote.

Late Monday night, he issued the third order to give the defendants a chance to respond to the request from the legal team working on President Trump’s behalf.

However, until then, the judge wrote the defendants are “enjoined and restrained from altering, destroying, or erasing, or allowing the alteration, destruction, or erasure of, any software or data on any Dominion voting machine” in the contested counties.

Attorney Lin Wood celebrated Judge Batten’s decision to not cave to the Left’s corrupt demands.

“Sidney Powell & I won, then lost, but ended up winning. We will never give up the pursuit of TRUTH to achieve justice,” Wood said.

President Trump weighed in on the state of the election results in Georgia, calling it a potential “goldmine” of fraud in a tweet Monday night.

The president is set to visit the state on Saturday to campaign for Senate runoff candidates Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue and garner Republican support from his base.

As litigation continues, Georgia appears increasingly important to secure President Trump’s re-election. We can fully expect many big updates as court rulings and public hearings throughout the contested swing states commence.
