Over the past few months, it has become painfully obvious that the Democrat party no longer even pretends to care about Americans. Democrats only care about power, and they’ll get it by any means necessary. The right thing to do for any Democrat who disagrees with their party’s platform but is still hanging on would be to get out while they still can.
Following in dissenting Democrat Congressman Vernon Jones’ footsteps, six more Democrats have announced they will be abandoning the Left this November, casting their votes for Donald Trump.
On Friday, six Minnesota Democrat mayors, plus one Independent, wrote a powerful letter to the American people explaining their decision to endorse President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence for re-election this November.
Namely, those elected officials who signed the letter include, Mayor Larry Cuffe of Virginia, MN, Mayor Chris Swanson of Two Harbors, MN, Mayor Robert Vlaisavljevich of Eveleth, MN, Mayor Andrea Zupancich of Babbitt, MN, Mayor Chuck Novak of Ely, MN and Mayor John Champa of Chisholm, MN.
The long-time Democrats collectively wrote, “Like many in our region, we have voted for Democrats over many decades,” but, “by putting tariffs on our products and supporting bad trade deals, politicians like Joe Biden did nothing to help the working class.”
The mayors continued, “Today, we don’t recognize the Democratic Party. It has been moved so far to the Left it can no longer claim to be advocates of the working class.”
“The hard-working Minnesotans that built their lives and supported their families here on the Range have been abandoned by radical Democrats. We didn’t choose to leave the Democratic Party, the party left us,” they emphasized.
However, in contrast, when Trump was elected in 2016, he enacted domestic and foreign policies that brought Minnesota’s mining industry roaring back, making local communities thrive again. The mayors assert that because “lifelong politicians like Joe Biden are out of touch with the working class” and with what the country needs, he cannot revive our economy or maintain the American way of life.
On the other hand, “President Trump delivered the best economy in our nation’s history, and President Trump will deliver for us again. He will continue to fight for every American,” unlike Biden, thus endorsing the president for re-election.
What these lifelong Democrats wrote in this letter is so important for all Americans to hear because it perfectly encapsulates what is at stake in the 2020 election. If we do not re-elect Trump, we will not be afforded law and order, we will be choked with taxes, and we can forget about our constitutional rights.
This isn’t a regular election with the recognizable Democrat party we have seen and known for decades. That party has morphed into a tyrannical, power-hungry, elitist group that works in the best interest of its agenda rather than those of the people.
This election in November will be a pivotal moment in our country’s history. We either elect far-Left extremists, or we re-elect Trump who will work to salvage our way of life and restore it to its former greatness.
The choice is in our hands.
