Wouldn’t it be great if we could hold our elected officials PERSONALLY responsible for what they do in the DC—and especially what they vote for or against?
As it stands right now, our only recourse is to vote them out of office two, four, or six years after they’re elected…
But wouldn’t be nice that if politicians were forced to wear shock collars connected to an app that allowed constituents to let their representatives know EXACTLY what they think about their decisions?
How awesome would it be to watch these Congress members and Senators jump and yelp every time they made a terrible decision?
It’s easy to see why we don’t adopt this method of instant feedback. Some of our elected officials would probably fry almost instantly from the amount of electricity that would be shot their way.
But it would serve them right…
We’ve given them a GREAT responsibility by electing them into office. The least they can do is the RIGHT thing when presented with an issue or problem.
Can you imagine if we had this system during the BS surrounding the Wuhan virus stimulus package?
We’d have a LOT of sore legislators…
What they’ve tried to do with this bill while Americans are hurting and scared is beyond reprehensible.
This Is No Time For Pet Projects!
Yesterday, we highlighted this when talking about Nancy Pelosi and the ridiculous things she was trying to get injected into the bill… (READ: Nancy Pelosi’s Dirty Little Stimulus Agenda)
But she’s not the only culprit.
No, now that we’re getting down to the nitty-gritty, it seems like there are some things in this bill that are not only ridiculous pet projects by embedded politicians…
But a lot of it doesn’t even benefit AMERICANS!!
How do YOU feel about $11 billion of this stimulus money going to THREE different international development groups?
Seriously, it seems as if politicians were successful in sneaking in funding for the African Development Fund (ADF), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the International Development Association (IDA).
If you’re wondering what these are…
The ADF and the AfDB are two related organizations that help fund development and poverty eradication efforts in Africa, and the IDA is a subsidiary of the World Bank, which gives money to impoverished countries in general.
How much are they getting?
$11 Billion STOLEN From American Citizens!
Well, according to the bill itself, the ADF will be getting $500 million, the IDA will be getting $3 billion, and the AfDB will be getting $7.25 billion – totaling almost 11 BILLION dollars in aid to foreign countries.
Meanwhile, we have Americans that are concerned about rent, electricity, and food bills!
This money should be going to help Americans first! If there’s any left over after that, we can look to help the rest of the world.
But until then, the fact remains that our politicians should be making sure they’re taking care of Americans first.
Which is why those zappers would come in handy right about now…
Just as insurance that these greedy and corrupt people do the RIGHT thing.
Too bad their consciences don’t do the same…
