There is a president who covered up a crime. It wasn’t Donald Trump.

It was Barack Obama.

That’s right, the Obama White House and State Department provided cover for Hillary Clinton during the controversy over her emails.

Clinton was accused of using a private email server which contained top-secret documents.

Clinton destroyed 30,000 of those emails before the FBI could get its hands on them.

Seems suspicious, doesn’t it?

A watchdog group thought so. The group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) submitted a Freedom of Information Act request to the State Department in December 2012.

The Obama State Department denied the request, denying the existence of the Clinton records.

Probably because she deleted those 30,000 emails.

We know this wasn’t true, because Barack Obama himself admitted knowledge of the fact that Clinton used a private server.

The documents were obtained by Judicial Watch.

The president of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, said, “These documents suggest the Obama White House knew about the Clinton email lies being told to the public at least as early as December 2012.

… The Obama White House orchestrated the Clinton email cover-up.”

That noise you heard was the sound of the Obama/Clinton narrative exploding.

The Daily Caller reported: “Several FOIA requests were filed for information on Clinton’s email accounts during her tenure at the State Department, which ended Feb. 1, 2013. The most specific request was the one from CREW, which was submitted on Dec. 6, 2012.”

The report continued: “The group filed a FOIA request for information on the personal email accounts of several cabinet officials, including Clinton. Had the State Department fulfilled the FOIA request, the public might have learned much earlier than it di that Clinton used a personal email account hosted on a private email server while at the State department. Clinton used the email address It was not revealed publicly until March 2, 2015, in a New York Times report.”

I am sure this story will be reported widely in the media.

Probably not.

Just this weekend, Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein accused President Trump of being “the most authoritarian president in American history.”

I am sure that Bernstein will opine on this story and call the Obama administration out for using authoritarian tactics.

I wouldn’t bet on it.

Bernstein said, “Trump is probably the most authoritarian president in the history of the United States … he has nothing but contempt for Democratic traditions and the rule of law.”

Bernstein was one president off. Just replace Trump with Obama, and his statement becomes correct.

Trump rightfully nicknamed Hillary Clinton “crooked.”

She and her husband have been dirty for decades, and it finally caught up to her in 2016. The American people didn’t trust her and voted for her opponent.

Then-FBI Director James Comey didn’t recommend any charges for Clinton despite overwhelming evidence that she violated the Espionage Act. The Democrats loved Comey until he reopened the investigation for a brief time before the election. They then turned on him and blamed him for her election loss.

Then they loved him again after Trump fired him in 2017.

More and more information points to the fact that the Obama administration had no problem violating laws for the benefit of the administration and the Democratic Party.

Things are about to get interesting as Attorney General Barr looks into actions of the Obama FBI’s possible spy operation against the Trump campaign.
