When you think about the people who voted for Donald Trump, you probably don’t see many former Obama supporters among that group…

And it would make sense, as Obama was a bastion for liberalism, while Trump has come to represent everything American — especially capitalism.

However…

More former Obama supporters have crossed the picket line than you think.

Many more people have taken the “red pill” than you realize — and you can thank the man they once supported for their change of heart.

So what happened in eight years to change these people’s views?

What opened their eyes?

It comes down to one thing: the truth.

The Event

However, back in 2007 — Barry Obama ran a masterful campaign. His idea of how to govern and how he was going to change the way that politics was done appealed to many voters.

Where Muhammad Ali had the “rope-a-dope” strategy…

Barry Obama had a similar philosophy, but he called it “Hope and Change.”

A lot of people bought into that hope and change — as the message itself, the idea — was beautiful. It seemed almost ridiculous to not give it a chance.

So, many people in the middle — the independents, as they’re called — gravitated toward this charismatic and persuasive man.

For many of these people — after Obama was named president — there was a feeling of pride…

A real, “we did something good here” moment.

People woke up that next day with hope for the future — so on that part of the promise — Obama was a man of his word.

That hope carried these people through the holiday season that year — and people were waiting with bated breath for the moment when this “true servant of the people” would begin his time in the

Oval Office as the president of the United States of America.

That hope even carried on over his first few months in office…

But people who bought into the hope and change got TIRED of the hope and were looking for the change.

That change didn’t come…

Obama wasn’t a bastion of a new wave of “politicians with hearts”…

He was a pretender. He was the same old kind of politician, masquerading in a new kind of costume.

The Same Sheep in Wolf’s Clothing

When that change didn’t come…

Many of those people felt duped.

They felt as if they had been sold a raw deal by Obama and weren’t happy about it. Even so — some of these people STILL voted for him in 2012, hoping that change was going to come a little later than expected.

Again … they were duped.

The only change people experienced was a more racially divided country than it had been in 60 years.

So, 2016 came along, and we had two choices…

The Status Quo vs. The Maverick — and we were done.

Many of those people who voted for Obama over Mitt Romney or John McCain — were going red no matter what…

Many of those people who had voted for Obama twice — were voting red no matter what.

We knew the polls were off because we knew something the Dems didn’t…

A lot of people who voted blue in 2012 were NOT going to vote for an established and crooked politician like Hillary. Nope…

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times? No. Friggin’. Way.”

Trump embodies EVERYTHING that goes against the establishment.

He’s a TRUE rebel — and he’s doing things HIS way … as he said he would.

He’s delivered on MANY of his promises — and is working to deliver on more!

He’s doing so much to fulfill his ultimate promise of making American great again — that there’s no doubt he’ll win 2020 in a landslide. Plus…

Those people will NEVER get duped again.

How do I know so much about “those people”? How do I know so much about how former Obama supporters feel?

Because I was one.

Yes…

In 2008, I voted for Barry Obama and I’ve regretted it ever since.

I see the truth now — I see what liberals TRULY want…

And I will work as hard as I can to NEVER let that happen. Ever. Nope … not on my watch.

I’ve been red-pilled since June of 2008…

And I thank God every day for that.

So, here’s to REALLY being woke to the truth…

And here’s to Trump winning in 2020!
