Ahhh…

Colin Kaepernick. Is it awesome having this guy back in the headlines or what? He gives us so much to work with. He’s the perfect personification of the Left and what they believe.

He’s spoiled, he’s bigoted, he wants preferential treatment—but he ALSO wants everybody else to follow the rules.

The fact that Nike put their faith in this guy is baffling…

Not many people have as little to offer as Kaepernick does– but for some reason, Nike thought it was smart to build a campaign around him and his “sacrifice.”

Except he didn’t sacrifice anything…

His all-around lack of talent is what kept him off the field, not his faux political rantings.

Let’s be real…

Do you think it was a coincidence that the first week Kaepernick got caught sitting on the sidelines during the National Anthem was the first week he got benched for sucking at his job?

Is the Left so gullible or so desperate to seem “woke” that they’d believe the story he made up about statistically-inaccurate police violence?

Yes…

They are.

A Study In Self-Aggrandizement

Kaepernick sat because he was pouting over being benched when he thought he was the superstar of the team. He could have been—he SHOULD have been—but he got lazy and thought he could get by on past glories.

Now, as a result, he’s spent years off the field since this whole kneeling BS started. He was cut from the 49s at the end of the season and NOBODY else wanted to sign him.

So…

He sat out and has done NOTHING other than whine and get paid for doing it.

Has he started any outreach programs?

Has he tried to actually FIX any of the problems he sees?

Nope.

He’s perfectly content to just sit back and tweet about his outrage every once in a while.

Follow-through is what reveals your character…

And from what Kaepernick has shown, he doesn’t have very much.

Yet despite all that, he made it seem like he still wanted to try and play football again. He acted like his hiatus was HIS choice and was NOT caused by the fact that he sucked eggs his last season.

After jerking the NFL around for a bit with his last workout (again, where he sucked eggs and one of the receivers he used got signed instead of him), the newly-reformed XFL decided to reach out to Kaepernick and see if his passion for the sport was, in fact, real.

And, apparently…

It’s not.

WWE’s Vince McMahon is back in the professional football business after an almost 20-year hiatus…

This is something I know about, as in 2001, I had a tryout with the XFL that didn’t go my way – but that’s another story. To summarize, I know McMahon is serious about it.

So the XFL reached out to Kaepernick to see if he was serious about getting back in the game – and his answer proved he wasn’t.

Kaepernick Proves He Has NO Heart

The current TOP salary in the XFL is $500K – it’s a fledgling league without a lot of coverage or money…

Keeping that in mind, you think Kaepernick would swallow his pride and show the world he just wants to play ball. Well, he didn’t.

Instead, he priced himself out of an opportunity, asking for —nay, DEMANDING—$20 million per season.

$20 Million.

XFL commissioner Oliver Luck put it a little nicer: “I have no idea whether Colin is in shape or not. Weather he wants to play. We are a league that has salary restrictions and obviously, at least based on what people have said, that might play a role in his desire to play. I think his salary demands are way out of our ballpark – he was never really a viable option.”

There you have it…

He has no passion to play, he just wants to get paid.

He’s a greedy social justice warrior – nothing more and nothing less.

He doesn’t care about playing…

He doesn’t care about being a role model…

All he cares about is his bank account…

Sort of like Bernie – just not as good at trying to hide it.
