Chuck Todd is the worst…

When he took over hosting duties for “Meet the Press,” people hoped that he would continue the show’s tradition of being MOSTLY non-partisan.

Unfortunately, Todd—or at least his puppet masters at NBC—had different designs and someone definitely instituted an “All Things Trump Are Bad” policy since he’s come aboard.

It’s pretty sad…

The show often will speak in favor of whatever Leftist is on the show, but it takes on an almost combative attitude towards any conservative still crazy enough to get booked by Todd and company.

“Meet the Press” has turned into “Bash The Donald”…

And it’s high time they reverted back to their non-partisan tradition.

Now…

We all know that isn’t going to happen.

This is who they are now and there is no way that the Left will give up ANY ground in this fight for America’s soul…

But it’d be nice, wouldn’t it?

Chuck Todd LOVES to take shots at our president, conservatives, and the Right in general…

It seems to be one of his favorite things to do.

Todd Tries And FAILS…

Of course, he doesn’t come right out and take these shots directly; he hides them as snide remarks and questions…

Such as this gem he let loose during the House Committee meeting on whether or not Trump should be impeached: “We are living in a moment where we have a part of one of our major political parties that is just not accepting the premise, is just not accepting facts that are facts.”

Now…

He’s talking about the GOP here – but the fact remains there were NO facts presented by the Dems and they railroaded the entire process. Not allowing the GOP’s witnesses, lawyers, or even certain questions.

So…

When Todd gets put in his place – it’s hard not to get a modicum of pleasure out of it.

Todd recently had Trump’s national security advisor Ambassador Robert O’Brien on the show to talk about the Iran incidents…

And he’s now probably wishing he hadn’t.

Why?

Because O’Brien made him look pretty stupid – and exposed his partisan bias in the process.

Talking about Iran’s response to the elimination of Soleimani, Todd asked O’Brien, “Why, if you were so concerned that Soleimani was about to launch an imminent attack on as many as four different embassies, why do you think the Iranian response was so muted?”

O’Brien answered, “I don’t think it was a muted response. They fired off 16 ballistic missiles at Iraqi bases where American and coalition forces were.”

Can you imagine what an UNmuted response would be?

But Todd pressed, “They’re accepting it as a muted response, though. Because they seemed to issue warnings, they let everybody know in advance. We were able to protect ourselves. I mean, it seems as if they telegraphed it on purpose. No?”

O’Brien coolly refuted, “They issued warnings that they were going to retaliate, they didn’t issue warnings of what they were going to do. We’ve got fantastic systems that can pick up launches of ballistic missiles in space, we’ve got early warning systems. And because of our diligence and our vigilance, we were able to make sure that the American soldiers in those areas were dispersed.

But look, I think it’s a pretty serious thing when you fire off 16 ballistic missiles.”

You’d think Todd would get tired of looking dumb…

But he didn’t. Instead, he pressed on into even dumber waters.

When talking about Soleimani himself, Todd asked, “He [Senator Jim Webb] was basic — we took out a commander of another country’s army and to call him a terrorist then at that point, when if you are calling him a terrorist, then isn’t everybody in that regime a terrorist by definition?”

O’Brien’s mic drop moment was epic, “Well, in this case, the Quds Force, the IRGC Quds Force, which operates outside of Iran and foments revolution and terrorism in Yemen, in Syria where 500,000 people have been killed, in Lebanon with Hezbollah, in Iraq, that organization has been designated legally as a terrorist organization. Soleimani was the head of it. But he’s not just been designated by us, he’s under a travel ban from the U.N. He shouldn’t have been outside of Iran. I mean, this was someone who was a leader of an organization that was engaged in terror. He was involved in plotting imminent attacks against the United States. The President made a very difficult decision but a bold decision to remove him from the battlefield.”

That’s right, Ambassador…

It was a very bold decision by our president.

Unfortunately, Liberals like Todd, Pelosi, and a host of others don’t feel the same way.

They MUST feel like having a known terrorist continuing to do evil around the region is a GOOD thing.

Luckily for us…

They’re not in control.
