Cancel culture is infecting many areas of society. It has been most often associated with entertainers and political personalities, but it is now making its way into banks as well.

The Left won’t stop until all of society bends to their beliefs. They are like one giant team that doesn’t play by the rules of decency.

Andrew Quinlan wrote the following for the Federalist about the Lefts efforts to pressure banks:

“In recent years, financial institutions have been targeted for relationships with the National Rifle Association, for financing the Dakota Access Pipelines, and for working with companies operating private detention facilities. Some of these campaigns have succeeded in causing banks to sever ties with their customers, which means we can only expect such efforts to increase.”

Quinlan continued: “An oversight hearing by the House Financial Services Committee earlier this year [pressured] Wells Fargo to become an enforcer for gun control ‘best practices’ by cutting ties with any in the gun industry who refused to follow the policies some members of Congress prefer, despite failing to enact the law.”

He concludes by writing, “America’s financial system increasingly is being abused by activists and ideologues to advance partisan agendas. This pattern of misbehavior jeopardizes lawful American businesses, undermines the integrity of the financial system, and threatens the foundational principle of the rule of law. Biased banking needs to be stopped before it gets completely out of control.”

In April, multiple self-proclaimed conservatives had their bank accounts closed by JP Morgan Chase.

Evidence obtained by journalist James O’Keefe confirms that accounts were closed for political purposes.

The evidence was obtained by O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.

Chase closed the account of Trump supporter and Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio.

Tarrio’s website sells provocative merchandise. He was given no explanation as to why his account was closed.

Undercover audio confirms that censorship against conservative bank accounts is occurring: “Chase is not involved with any like, you know, alt-right people or anything,” said an employee of JP Morgan Chase, at their world headquarters. “I really can’t name names but it’s basically like we don’t get involved with any of that.”

Enrique Tarrio is not the only person on the Right to have their account closed. Rebel Media contributor Martina Markota, anti-Sharia journalist Laura Loomer, and vocal Trump supporter Joe Biggs have all had their bank accounts closed.

If you are a conservative, especially a political commentator (such as yours truly), these efforts to shut down bank accounts should be especially concerning.

However, that isn’t going to stop any of us from fighting for what we believe in. That is the goal of the cancel culture crowd, and they won’t stop until they have silenced us all.

Sadly for them, they will fail.

They underestimate the will of a conservative. We don’t need to appease anyone. We don’t need to virtue-signal like they do. We defend universal principles of individual Liberty that preceded modern-day liberalism, and if we continue to fight, we will be here long after we are gone.

Banks that give into the Leftwing mob are cowards and are not worthy of our business anyway!
