690…

That’s how many rockets that militant Hamas members and Islamic jihadis sent into Israel over the weekend of May 4.

That’s almost 700 rockets wreaking havoc. Only 173 of those rockets were intercepted by the country’s Iron Dome missile defense system … the others that got through have killed four so far and injured dozens more.

In Gaza — 23 people are dead so far.

So much death…

All stemming from a May 3 sniper attack on Israeli soldiers, which prompted Israel to launch airstrikes on targets in Gaza — and has only ramped up from there.

But that’s not the only thing happening in the Middle East…

As it seems Iran may be looking to tussle with the U.S. again.

This revelation comes from the fact that the Pentagon and the president found it prudent to send the USS Abraham Lincoln to the area, in response to what is being called a “clear indication” that

Iran is preparing for war…

Or at the very least, an attack on U.S. military forces in the region.

They may not want war — but if they carry out these attacks — they’ll get one.

What’s in the Water There?

What’s going on in the Middle East recently that has so many people riled up?

Some say it’s the weather — that it’s too hot, making people angry and crazy…

Others are blaming the reelection of Benjamin Netanyahu for this newest round of conflict.

Either way, things need to be taken down a notch…

And hopefully the presence of the USS Abraham Lincoln will go a long way toward making that happen — or at least be enough of a deterrent for now to stop or prevent any bloodshed.

Our president took to Twitter on Sunday, May 5 to appeal to the Gazans’ sense of logic — telling them “these terrorist acts against Israel will bring you nothing but more misery. END the violence and work towards peace – it can happen!”

That’s a nice sentiment, Mr. President, but doubtful to happen anytime soon.

But…

At least he’s trying.

Will Dems Let Trump Do His Job?

It’s sort of hard to concentrate on world matters when you and members of your team are still be hounded by the Dems about Russian collusion and the results of the Mueller report.

For the moment, our prolifically tweeting president is staying mum on Iran — but that doesn’t mean things won’t change in that department — as Trump is notorious for letting these countries know exactly what’s coming for them.

Although, it won’t be long till the liberals start spouting their lies and idiotic opinions of why Trump and Co. have decided to reallocate military resources throughout the region.

Anywhere there’s oil — the Dems will say any armed conflict in said area is a money grab over oil.

It doesn’t matter if the people are suffering in Venezuela or we’re being threatened with violence by Iranian forces — if there is oil under their feet, then the U.S. wants it…

That’s the only reason these mouth breathers can believe U.S. troops would be sent there.

Not to keep the peace through a display of superior firepower…

But to take something away from them.

Too bad for them — that’s not Trump’s style.

Trump would rather use a show of force to perpetuate peace than to actually go to war.

And he just may get his wish…

But in today’s apprehensive times, you never know.

However, if the past four decades have taught you anything — it should be that it’s not smart to bet against Trump…

He’s very good at getting what he wants. Hopefully, our president can nip this all in the bud before it gets out of hand.

If there’s anybody who can do that — it’s our guy…

You have to look at the history of the Middle East in particular. It has been one of failure and frustration, of feudalism and tribalism.” — Alexander Haig
