What you’re about to hear, you might not like or agree with, but…

FreedomWire believes that anybody who wants to change their sexual orientation should absolutely have the right to do so.

If anybody feels they were born inside the wrong body, they should absolutely have the right to rectify what they see as a mistake of the genetic lottery.

This is America, after all…

And if you’re a TRUE conservative, what somebody does shouldn’t matter to you as long was what they’re doing doesn’t hinder or infringe on your rights.

So…

If you want to change the way the world views you by having sexual reassignment surgery — then feel free!!

… as long you’re an adult.

A Disturbing Trend

Adults should have free reign over who or what they want to become…

But kids should NOT make such a life-altering decision during a time of immense confusion, especially while at an age that their brain is still in the developmental stages.

We get it…

Some kids feel that their bodies are “wrong” — and those kids may know that and show signs of those feelings very early in life — but the very last thing we should EVER consider is to change a child’s gender through surgery.

Ever…

To be honest, the fact that some parents are allowing their children to take body chemical-altering drugs before they reach puberty or DURING puberty doesn’t have enough science behind it to be able to say it’s safe and doesn’t put that child’s health at risk.

But this is happening all over the world.

However, it should be common sense that allowing or supporting a child’s decision to get sexual reassignment surgery isn’t safe — and allowing them to make that decision isn’t in the best interest for that child…

And that’s probably why the California legislature just ended a ban on sexual assignment surgeries on children born “intersex” — because they lack common sense.

The ban would have prohibited sexual assignment surgeries on children, six and under, who were born with ambiguous sex characteristics (those we used to classify as “hermaphrodites”) …

And this was voted DOWN by the lawmakers in California.

Why? Because they couldn’t agree what ONE term meant: “intersex.”

Apparently, the majority of committee members considered the bill’s definition of the word to be too broad.

Not only that… A pediatric urologist, Dr. Hillary Copp, opposed the bill in testimony, saying, “all flexibility for trained medical professionals and their [sic] loved ones to do what is in the best interest of the patient.”

Ummm, how would you know which surgery to perform if the child is too young to show signs of which sex their body will choose as they age?!

When Abuse Becomes INSTITUTIONALIZED

How is it “in the best interest of the patient” if you assign the WRONG sex to what the child’s body will determine once puberty sets in?

Copp doesn’t have an answer for that…

She had a narrative to push though: “We’re not trying to perform sex assignment surgery. In fact, we don’t even assign genders. We talk about the baby. This is such a complex issue. Of course, we want to get it right.”

WHAT?

How can you get it right if parents get the right to CHOOSE the sex for a baby before its own body chooses? That is NOT talking about the baby…

It’s talking about the parent and what they can deal with.

The baby doesn’t know that it’s got “ambiguous sexual characteristics” …

But the parents do — and changing that to make the parent’s job “easier” is a cop out.

This is child abuse…

But the Left won’t see it as such.

They’re the same people that think Greta Thunberg is a viable source of environmentalism.

So…

Excuse us if we don’t trust their judgment — on anything.
