Let me start this out by saying that, while I’ve never served in our military, I respect the courage of ANY man or woman that volunteers to put their life on the line in defense of our liberties.
That being said…
Just because somebody is in a uniform and we respect what that person did for our country doesn’t mean we have to trust or even like that person who is wearing that uniform.
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman has been thrust into the spotlight for his role in the recent debacle that is the Ukraine phone call between Trump and President Zelensky.
Vindman was on the phone call…
Well, all of the president’s phone calls from the Oval Office are listened to by SUPPOSEDLY non-partisans who simply transcribe the call in real time as they hear it.
Calls aren’t recorded for security’s sake….
But the parties that listen to them write them down as they hear them, so words and inflection can get lost in the transcription.
Vindman was one of those tasked with transcribing what he heard.
He was supposed to be one of the Dems’ star witnesses – and his testimony amounted to nothing more than a bite of the nothing burger this whole impeachment fiasco is proving to be.
What We Learned About Vindman
You learn a lot about a person when the spotlight is on them…
You learn a lot through the little things, like the way they talk to certain people and the way they act. And if there was ONE thing that Lt. Col. Vindman proved…
It’s that he DEFINITELY favors one side – the Dems.
This was all gleaned from ONE little sentence uttered when Rep. Devin Nunes called Lt. Col. Vindman, “Mr. Vindman” – to which Vindman replied , “Ranking member, it’s Lieutenant Colonel Vindman, please,” before answering any questions
That little correction was enough to tell you what Vindman is all about.
Because he never once corrected any of the Democrats when they mislabeled him “Colonel” instead of “Lt. Colonel”.
And while we as regular citizens may not have noticed…
His fellow service members did.
War Heroes Weigh In On The Man Behind The Uniform
One of my favorites is Army Ranger and former MMA star Tim Kennedy’s response on Twitter, which was, “Correcting a civilian about how to be addressed is a for sure way to make everyone in the military think you are a douche bag.”

And he wasn’t the only one who weighed in…
Former Navy SEAL, FBI Special Agent, Federal Air Marshall, and current political commentator Jonathan Gilliam wrote, “This guy reeks of spy! #Vindman should be added to the list of deep staters that should be charged with conspiracy to overthrow @realDonaldTrump.”

That’s gotta hurt…
And he’s not alone in thinking this…
In a response to a tweet from Donald Trump Jr, in which he called Vindman “a low-level partisan bureaucrat and nothing more,” Robert O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who KILLED Osama Bin Laden, responded to Trump with this tweet, “I agree. I wish the left wouldn’t use his uniform to make him a saint. He’s an operative with an agenda.”

Those are pretty damning words from some pretty AWESOME Americans.
Now, these words do NOT detract from the service that Vindman has done for his country…
They’re just the views of his fellow vets and reflect how they personally see him.
They can see things we can’t…
So when it comes to Lt. Col. Vindman’s partisanship – there’s no denying what side he leans towards.
And that’s a shame…
If he’s truly got an agenda, then he should remove himself from the uniform he so proudly wears.
You would think that somebody who has fought for freedom would understand when he’s trying to take away somebody else’s.
Wisdom doesn’t always come with sacrifice…
And Lt. Col. Vindman is a prime example of this fact.
