We’ll say it right now…

What happened to Breonna Taylor back in March was a tragedy, and going forward, we should absolutely take steps to make sure this kind of incident NEVER happens again.

She didn’t have to die that night.

However, her death wasn’t the result of negligence or malice on the part of the Louisville Police department. Instead, it was caused by the kind of perfect storm of crap that life sometimes hands us—but neither the police, Breonna, nor her boyfriend Kenneth Walker, were to blame for what happened.

Since the incident, the Left has clung to the case as proof that the police of America are both racist and corrupt, and they’ve been putting forward their own version of the story that happened that night.

The only problem is that none of them were there.

The only people who know exactly what happened were Breonna Taylor, Kenneth Walker, and the officers sent to serve the warrant—but that doesn’t mean we can’t deduce the truth of what happened that night.

“Say Her Name!”

The Left wants us to “say her name,” holding Taylor up as a victim murdered by police negligence and granting her a kind of sainthood status.

Protesters call it a tragedy of random chance, not an unfortunate tragedy due to Taylor’s OWN criminal activities – but that’s only because they don’t want to look past the narrative given by Leftists who weren’t there.

We can say her name in a discussion about reform, and when we do, we can say that Breonna Taylor was an unfortunate victim of circumstance that came about due to her own bad choices.

We don’t need hearsay. We can go off the facts of the case—again, something the Left wants to ignore.

Let’s take a look at the TRUTH compared to the falsehoods being peddled, shall we?

The Facts

The Lie: The officers that raided Taylor’s home actually went to the wrong address.

The Truth: Taylor was the name on the warrant: Police had obtained warrants for multiple locations linked to her ex-boyfriend, Jamarcus Glover, an alleged crack cocaine dealer. One of those addresses was Taylor’s, which officers suspected was being used for receiving mail and “packages.”

There was no accident. The cops were supposed to be there that night because Taylor was mixed up with some shady characters from her past.

The Lie: Police entered Taylor’s apartment without knocking.

The Truth: While yes, the police DID obtain a no-knock warrant, they actually knocked before entering the apartment. Kenneth Walker himself confirmed this with his statement when he said the sound of knocking woke them up.

He also said he grabbed his gun because he didn’t know who was at the door late at night (which is something anybody would do in that situation). But that decision ended up being a major factor in why Breonna was killed.

Yet, the Left keeps pushing this narrative… why?

The Lie: Police shot Taylor while she was in her bed.

The Truth: She actually died in the hallway as she and Walker were headed to the door to see who was knocking on it.

Walker admitted both he and Taylor were walking down the hallway towards the door when the officers broke the door down. Walker said he feared for his life and thought the plainclothes officers who broke down the door were intruders unlawfully entering his girlfriend’s home.

Again, that’s not outside of the realm of possibility, and that speaks to errors on the side of the police as well.

Walker was NOT in the wrong here. He was trying to protect himself and his girlfriend.

However, the officers likewise weren’t in the wrong for firing back. They were serving a warrant in a criminal investigation and were more than likely on edge due to the nature of their job. When they saw an armed individual, they moved to defend themselves.

But Taylor was shot in the hallway as they approached the door, not sleeping in her bed.

The Lie: The police didn’t need to be there in the first place because the suspect (Glover) was already in custody.

The Truth: The reason for the raid at Taylor’s home wasn’t to capture a suspect; it was to collect evidence.

Louisville PD said they thought Taylor was home alone at the time and were unaware that Walker was with her. They were simply there to try and collect evidence of Taylor and Glover’s conspiracy.

These are just SOME of the lies being told by the Left…

There are more lies that are inconsequential to the shooting, however, it doesn’t make sense to go over those because these are the ones that truly matter.

The Left is being manipulated by the media (or vice versa) to whip people into an angry frenzy…

For what purpose?

That we don’t know…

Maybe it’s to get people angry so they’ll start rioting…

Maybe it’s all being done to influence the outcome of the upcoming election.

Regardless of the reason, we know that they’re pushing lies, and while we agree this incident was tragic, the fact remains it was nothing more than an unfortunate event brought about by Taylor’s own decisions.

She did not deserve to die…

But most people very rarely do. Sometimes accidents happen when they could have been prevented.

Life isn’t always fair…
