Remember all those violent Right-wing extremists we were supposed to see take to the streets and burn down the Capitol? Well, so far, they’ve been nothing more than a figment of the media’s hysterical imagination.
The only violence has occurred on the Left. Following the January 6th Capitol riot, the Left went apoplectic and claimed that democracy itself was in peril thanks to one isolated—albeit violent—attack from Trump supporters.
As the media tried to distract us with a strawman by claiming Right-wing violence was coming, ANTIFA and BLM took to the streets of Seattle, Portland, and now DC, committing acts of violence and even threatening to burn the nation’s capital city to the ground.
That’s right, over the weekend, Black Lives Matter marched through the streets of Washington D.C. and threatened to “burn it down!”
Classy folks, aren’t they?
PJ Media reported, “On Saturday, a Black Lives Matter march through the streets of Washington, D.C., involved protesters dressed in ANTIFA black bloc and threatening to burn down the nation’s capital if their demands were not met.
‘If we don’t get it, burn it down!’ the mob chanted, seemingly referring to $2,000 individual checks in the COVID-19 relief bill Democrats are spearheading in Congress.
The marchers disturbed the peace of outdoor diners, but police protected the civilians.”
In the running score between Left and Right-wing violence, the Left has a massive blowout lead. Outside of the deplorable Capitol Hill riot and a few other smaller instances, the Left has outperformed the Right…and it’s not even close.
Essentially, the Left is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Right is the Kansas City Chiefs, and the US is last night’s Super Bowl. Another blowout for the ages.
Last month, The Wall Street Journal reported, “In Seattle, police said a group of marchers dressed mostly in black lighted a large American flag on fire in an intersection not far from a federal immigration court. The people also tore plywood coverings off windows that they then smashed, police said. Among the buildings damaged were the William Kenzo Nakamura federal courthouse and the [original] Starbucks in the Pike Place Market…
Around 9 p.m. local time, according to the Portland Police Bureau, a group of about 150 people—some carrying shields, umbrellas, and batons, and wearing gas masks and helmets—marched from a park to an immigration office, where graffiti was drawn and rocks thrown.”
So much for protecting public property. Apparently, only the Capitol building where elected officials were gathered to celebrate a presidential inauguration warrants protection.
We were all warned to be on the lookout for angry Right-wing extremists on Inauguration Day following the January 6th Capitol Hill riots. 25,000 National Guardsman were called in to protect the Capitol and Washington resembled a dystopian sci-fi scene.
We were also warned that Right-wing insurrections were planned in all 50 state capitols on Inauguration Day. None of these warnings bore fruit and there was no large-scale Right-wing violence of any kind.
The only violence that occurred happened on the Left.
And if it requires burning down the capital city, they are willing to do it. So much of “unity.”
