As if the Biden administration hasn’t embarrassed our country enough, now they are selling our nation out to the United Nations.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken has invited the United Nations Human Rights Council to come to the United States to investigate “systemic racism” on American soil.
I am not kidding.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Human Rights Council Blinken is inviting is an organization that, ironically, has China, Cuba, Russia, and Venezuela as sitting board members.
That would be like hiring Michael Vick to investigate the inhumane treatment of dogs or getting OJ Simpson to pursue homicide cases.
You can’t make this stuff up.
Blinken released the following statement:
“As the President has repeatedly made clear, great nations such as ours do not hide from our shortcomings; they acknowledge them openly and strive to improve with transparency. In so doing, we not only work to set the standard for national responses to these challenges, we also strengthen our democracy, and give new hope and motivation to human rights defenders across the globe.
It is in this context that the United States intends to issue a formal, standing invitation to all UN experts who report and advise on thematic human rights issues.”
That sound you just heard was our enemies in Beijing, Tehran, Moscow, and Havana laughing at us.
In just six months, the Biden administration has made America a laughing-stock on the international stage.
Sure, Donald Trump wasn’t beloved by the international community, but that was a good thing. He made our allies live up to their commitments and put our enemies on notice that the days of America being bullied by them were over.
And now we are back to the “lead from behind” days of the Obama administration. Being that Joe Biden was the Vice President during Obama’s tenure, this should come as no surprise.
In foreign policy, it is often better to be feared or respected than loved.
Outside of Israel, where Trump is loved for defending the nation and making peace deals, Trump wasn’t a beloved figure on the world stage…but who cares? He was the President of the United States, not the world.
Israel is also a frequent target of the United Nation’s human rights council, despite going out of their way to treat Palestinians humanly, but that doesn’t stop them from being reprimanded by the actual human rights abusers in China, Russia, and Cuba, among others.
The United Nations is a joke, and we should have pulled our funding from the organization years ago. They don’t have our best interests, or those of the world, as their top priority. If anything, the United Nations is an enabler of totalitarianism throughout the world.
They don’t condemn China, but they do condemn democratic nations like the United States and Israel.
And now Secretary Blinken has offered our country up on a platter to be devoured by the forces of evil at the United Nations, giving that dreadful organization another chance to condemn our nation for all to see.
So, farewell America First, and hello American Last. Our enemies thank you, Secretary Blinken, for once again giving them something to laugh about.
It’s a cruel joke and another win for the globalists.
