What is it about the Left that has been so attractive to Black American voters over the past 50 years?

What happened over that time to make them forget that it was the Democrats that voted to support slavery and Jim Crow laws and started the Ku Klux Klan?

A lot of the Leftists like to point to the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as the moment the tide turned, forcing a lot of racist Southern Democrats to switch parties – birthing the term “Dixiecrat”.

This seems like a nice little story, except…

It’s not true.

There was no mass migration from the Democrats to the Republicans after the Civil Rights Act – and common sense would make this idea ridiculous, seeing as it was the Republican party that was one championing the signing of the bill in the first place…

So why would racist and bigoted Democrats change sides to the party that WANTED the Civil Rights Act signed into law?

It doesn’t make a lick of sense…

Just ONE Democrat switched sides during this time—Strom Thurmond. The rest were content to rot with their fellow racist bigots in the Democrat party.

So, why has the lie perpetuated for so long?

Democrats See Black Voters As POWER… Not People

What is it about this narrative that has been so easy for Black voters to swallow?

There’s a rumor that Lyndon Johnson had a plan to trap Black voters, even going so far as to say, “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before: the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this. We’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don’t move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there’ll be no way of stopping them, we’ll lose the filibuster and there’ll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It’ll be Reconstruction all over again.”

Of course…

That’s not the worst thing he said, according to some pretty reputable sources. After signing the Civil Rights Act into law, Johnson also said, “I’ll have those n*****s voting Democratic for 200 years.”

Can you believe that?

If LBJ was ANYTHING, it was an opportunist. However, you’d think that, given the fact that it was widely known that he referred to the Civil Rights Act as the “n****r bill,” people would have known better.

However…

People are starting to realize that they’ve been sold a bill of goods.

Eyes Are Opening

Black voters have given Democrats their support for the past 50 years – and what have they gained during that time?

They’ve watched as the Democrats have systematically destroyed the black nuclear family…

Their economic prospects have dried up…

Their votes have been taken for granted – with Dems making promises that they’ve never once kept.

So, when people like Kanye West speak out, they’ve got solid reasoning behind their opposition to the status quo.

And he’s not the only one…

Tariq Nasheed, a Black filmmaker, author, and radio host recently raised eyebrows when he tweeted, “Trump is actually talking about providing specific tangibles to Foundational Black Americans. Yet the democrats who Black Americans have been so naively loyal to, are adamant about NOT doing anything specific for Black Americans. So why should we honestly support the democrats?”

But that’s not the only thing…

He also tweeted, “Trump says Black people built America, (and he is 100% correct). What’s interesting is the Democrats won’t even give Foundational Black Americans that credit. The Dems run around talking about ‘iMmigRaNtS bUiLt aMeRiCa’. So what’s the difference between the Democrats and Trump?”

The difference is…

Trump ACTUALLY cares about American citizens – and he doesn’t care about the color of their skin. He just cares about helping Americans prosper. All of us.

He’s ACTUALLY helping the Black community…

While the Dems never did.

And these Black voters are realizing it…

You’ll be surprised how much more support Trump gets from them in 2020.

Let’s just hope it’s enough to get him the win…

Because nothing is set in stone.
