There is a fate worse than death in the world of politics…

And no, it’s not some sort of sexual scandal—those seem to elevate a politician more than hurt them.

No, one of the worst things you can do in politics is proving that you’re out-of-touch and that your finger is nowhere CLOSE to the pulse of society.

We’ve seen this happen a few times…

Remember when Howard Dean was cruising to the DNC nomination and then let out a primitive yell at a rally? He was just overcome with excitement, having a real human moment…

But the Left ate him alive as being emotionally unstable and he faded back into obscurity.

Some people blame Hillary Clinton’s corruption and politics-as-usual mentality for her loss to Donald Trump in 2016…

But it could also be argued that the stupid faces she made during her DNC nomination ceremony cost her the ultimate victory.

Being out of touch can cost you big time in politics…

And it looks like Joe Biden is about to pay that price.

Floppy Joe’s Latest Gaffe

During a recent interview with the New York Times, Biden once again fell into the strategy of “open mouth, insert foot,” taking a shot at game developers (and everyone involved in the gaming industry in general.

When asked about Silicon Valley’s growing influence and power in politics, Biden said, “And you may recall the criticism I got for meeting with the leaders in Silicon Valley, when I was trying to work out an agreement dealing with them protecting intellectual property for artists in the United States of America. And at one point, one of the little creeps sitting around that table, who was a multi- — close to a billionaire — who told me he was an artist because he was able to come up with games to teach you how to kill people.”

That’s a bit of a stretch, isn’t it Creepy Joe?

The fact that you’d call ANYBOD a “creep” is laughable…

But the fact that you’d insult anybody in the gaming industry—an industry that has the attention of MILLIONS of young and influential voters—proves that you don’t have your finger on the pulse.

Joe Biden is the equivalent of the grandfather in the Simpsons cartoon that made it into the papers with the headline “Old Man Yells At Cloud.”

Just like on the show, an old guy is angry about something, and the youth likely aren’t going to care.

Not only that…

But oversimplifying what game developers do by saying they’re “teaching you how to kill people” also proves that Biden hasn’t a clue as to what is going on.

None…

A lot of work, effort, and skill goes into creating a video game—from coding and software development to art and writing—and the fact that Joe downplays that doesn’t look good.

What It Could Cost Him

MILLIONS of young Americans are hooked on gaming (either for good or ill) and they are a passionate marker that is extremely protective of their chosen pastime…

If Biden doesn’t think this little gaff is going to cost him, he’s sorely mistaken.

But of course, he couldn’t leave well enough alone; he had to kick the hive after he knocked it down…

“And then one of these righteous people said to me that, you know, ‘We are the economic engine of America. We are the ones.’ And fortunately, I had done a little homework before I went and I said, you know, I find it fascinating,” Biden continued. “As I added up the seven outfits, everyone’s there but Microsoft. I said, you have fewer people on your payroll than all the losses that General Motors just faced in the last quarter, of employees. So don’t lecture me about how you’ve created all this employment… The point is, there’s an arrogance about it, an overwhelming arrogance that we are, we are the ones. We can do what we want to do. I disagree.”

Of course…

That’s not what they said; that was Floppy Joe’s OWN assessment of things, not the reality.

Biden is out of the loop…

You would think that anybody that likes to get close to kids—so close that he can smell what brand of shampoo they use—would know certain things about young Americans…

But Floppy Joe is clueless.

After all, he’s a Dem…

What else would you expect?

“A game is an opportunity to focus our energy, with relentless optimism, at something we’re good at (or getting better at) and enjoy. In other words, gameplay is the direct emotional opposite of depression.” ― Jane McGonigal
