Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign is flimsy at best, tainted by Obamagate, and hindered by his declining cognitive abilities. Over the last few months, he’s been in the hot seat for the Tara Reade sexual assault allegations. Then, just last week, he was revealed to be among those who carried out the illegal “unmasking” of General Michael Flynn alongside James Comey and Denis McDonough, and there’s even a possibility that Biden was responsible for the illegal leak to The Washington Post.

Now, as if his campaign couldn’t be any more scandal-ridden, Biden now faces a potentially damaging development pertaining to his involvement in Ukraine.

Newly leaked audio from Ukrainian MP Andrii Derkach alleges that Joe Biden is guilty of the very crimes the Democrats viciously accused President Trump of committing in Ukraine: extortion and quid pro quo.

The audio appears to expose multiple conversations between former Ukrainian President Poroshenko and former Vice President Joe Biden. Biden is heard pressuring Poroshenko into firing the prosecutor who was actively investigating Burisma Holdings, the gas company for which Biden’s son Hunter was a board member, in exchange for a one-billion-dollar loan.

Yes, we have known about the Burisma scandal for some time since Biden was caught on camera bragging about it. But if the Left can make a completely baseless impeachment case against President Trump for the same crime, imagine what the Right could do with just a hint of evidence.

Adding this new evidence to all the other factors working against Biden, and you can see that his campaign is drowning.

Even liberals are struggling to support him. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, just 54% of likely Democrat voters want Biden to be the nominee, with 36% saying they should find someone else.

This comes even after Biden has vowed to choose a woman of color to be his running mate, teasing his virtue-signaling base that someone like Kamala Harris or failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams could be his pick.

On Tuesday, his campaign announced a major addition to the Biden camp. Julie Chavez-Rodriguez, granddaughter of Cesar Chavez, will supervise the campaign’s work on Latino outreach. Chavez-Rodriguez previously worked for Kamala Harris’ campaign, as well as the Obama Administration. Also, in what seems like an effort to fight back against President Trump’s “Sleepy Joe” nickname, Biden unveiled his very own moniker for the President: “President Tweety.” Doesn’t really have the same effect, does it?

Rather than being a successful zing at the President, the lackluster nickname highlights Trump’s strong suit: communicating with the people without needing the mainstream media. Note to the Biden campaign: that defeats the whole purpose of a nickname.

However, regardless of the campaign’s endeavors to seem like they are viable competitors, their various politically-correct efforts and empty promises are not holding enough weight with the Democrat voter base, especially when considering his massive gaffes where he says bizarre things about kids touching his leg hair, or when he melts down at his own rallies while taking questions from voters, calling someone a “lying dog-faced pony soldier.”

The Democrats already have serious damage control to do 24/7 when dealing with Joe Biden. If the leaked audio checks out, it could lead to repercussions that end his political campaign for good.

Fingers crossed…
